Was this supposed to be a 19-20 preview or a 18-19 review? Also Durham was a 35% 3pt shooter and Green was 41%. Its nitpicking but its a weird article by Josh.
Those shooting percentages were from conference only games I believe.

I did enjoy the part of the article where he was comparing Brunk and Davis suggesting that Davis will start and they will play equal minutes. That’s not even close to being true it seems. No mention of Damezi or Franklin helping to improve shooting. No mention of Race Thompson at all. Seems like a typical national guy article that googled IU’s stats from last year.

Ahh that makes sense. I don't think he's wrong in his questioning of our outside shooting. It definitely needs to improve but the numbers returning are promising. I don't think many are expecting a vast improvement in the overall success of the team but I also don't expect to lose 12 of 13 games.

Yea but Bohannon will be the only player in the country to total at least 113 assists and hit 87.4 3 pointers. No one else does that.
acctually it was seasons of 175+ assists and 85+ made 3 in back to back season which Jordan was the only player reguardless of position had done in the previous 25 years, Jordan was a 3rd Team All BT Player last season.

here are his scoring avg per season
FR 10.9 PPG 41.6% from 3
SO 13.5 PPG 43% from 3
JR 11.6 PPG playing with a bad hip 38.3% from 3

Jordan has been Iowa's most reliable shooter and assist man.

Not like IU played murderer's row either, but yeah Minny has had quite an easy schedule to 8-0. Still impressive nonetheless.
True. IU though has played OSU, MSU and Nebraska. Gonna find out a lot about Minny soon: #5 PSU, @ #19 Iowa...Then Wisconsin, in your final four games.

Not at all, teams they beat are 19-30 or something close. I still don’t give a shit and am excited they have beaten teams they should have despite losing their starting QB. Can’t lose against NW or PU and would be nice to finally beat Michigan after so many close calls but I’ll believe it when it happens. Still amazed that Allen has won more games at Indiana than Brohm has at Purdue. Hazzel did quite the number on that program.

9 wins in 4 years will do that lol. This year has sucked but as long as he keeps recruiting at a high level, I’m on board.

Completely understand but I will be taking shots for as long as I can.

I don't think anyone should care where the wins come from, I wish Purdue had an easier schedule this year so they might have had a shot at bowl eligibility. Just thought it was ironic that Tommy was calling out a Minny fan for their schedule being easy, considering IU's.

Yup. Not a chance Purdue fans expected their team to be in this situation and IU to be bowl eligible already. Pretty funny, really.

Absolutely. I thought Purdue would be better but I absolutely stated that Purdue’s margin of error was thin and they couldn’t afford to lose key players to injury. I never thought Purdue would be without 5 of its top 6 players for nearly the entire season. We still never should have lost at Nevada tho.

Candidly, I didn’t put much thought to IU but I certainly didn’t see them bowl eligible yet. Of course it’s been done on the backs of 3 comically bad non-conference opponents and 3 Big Ten teams that are a combined 3-12 with 2 of them being absent their starting QBs when you played them.

You continue to bring this up. Would you rather be 6-2 or 2-6? Neither IU or Purdue or battling for a playoff spot anytime soon or ever. Who cares where the wins come from.

Also Do you realize how bad Nevada is? They are ****ing dreadful.

IU understands it’s place in the college football landscape. The most important thing is getting to a bowl. Maybe Purdue should stop acting like something they are not

Being in the East I’m fine with our noncon, getting to bowl game’s is what gets kids attention, not getting 4 or 5 wins against a tough schedule. Get to bowls, boost recruiting, then you can start to schedule tougher but baby steps.

When you have zero hope of ever winning a title You go Billy Snyder scheduling every time. IU has already added Louisville and Cincinnati to future schedules anyway. I just hope the program continues to build wins before those games

First, I was trolling Deathclutch, and he responded. I liked his response even.

Second Purdue lost to Nevada and was destroyed by TCU and Vanderbilt. IU might as well schedule Bama and Clemson to lose badly but get that strength of schedule up for you.

Like Klize said, Indiana isn't winning any championships, getting to a bowl is the name of the game. If IU can beat Northwestern and Purdue, that's an 8 win season and those 8 wins would all count just like Purdue's 8 losses.
