Their two best players were freshmen last year, Dosunmu and Giorgi. Trent Frazier is a solid #3 option - great shooter. Dosumu is arguably one of the top 25 player in the nation. They bring in a top 50 kid in Kofi Cockburn. He should start at 5. Giorgi slides to the 4. Main concerns with them would be bench production and defense. They did win 3 straight Quad 1 games last year against Maryland, Michigan State, and Ohio State. That might not sound especially impressive, but consider the fact that Iowa only won four Quad 1 games.

Probably just a pre-emptive measure to ensure gambling profs don't flunk student-athletes?
Seems like a waste and if something like that was to happen it would be publicized pretty quick. Telling students of legal age they can not bet on Purdue is something that can not be forced.
Don't really know how you enforce this stuff with students, but it seems like a no brainer for faculty/staff to me.
He’s way better than Dylan’s Burkhardt at least. I use to slap trolls around on Dylan’s forum and he’d always give the trolls way more leash. You realize Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Iowa all had losing records overall in 2018, right? And all three teams made the tournament in 2019. It's not that hard to turn around in basketball. There are 5 players on the court. Illinois returns 8 of their top 9 guys. The biggest improvements will come from Dosunmu, Girogi, and Frazier. Cockburn obviously fills a HUGE void in rebounding.
I'm okay if someone doesn't have Illinois in the top 25. My issue was more with not even having them as the first 8 out. Tell you what. I'll gladly do an avatar bet with you. I'll wear an avatar of your liking for one month if Iowa finishes ahead of Illinois in the Big Ten.

Should be an entertaining year in the Big Ten. I’m excited to see Ohio State and Illinois, those are must watch teams for me. Seeing how Purdue bounces back from losing Edwards and seeing UM post Beilein will be interesting. MSU will be good basketball to watch. Not to mention the big man little man combo of Jalen “Logs” Smith (used to be sticks but his legs are logs now” and Anthony Cowen.
