Home field advantage with Waino pitching at Busch game 1. Not a bad outcome at all.

This is SO MUCH better than if the Dodgers win. Waino is great at home and awful on the road. If Dodgers somehow win, they’d have to go with Mikolas game 1 and then Hudson game 2. Much better starting with Waino at home game 1 imo.

Gotta love the fall here in Denver. 80 degrees out yesterday and Tuesday, and today I have about 3 inches of snow accumulated outside my place. Hoping to golf this weekend, as it's supposed to get back into the 70s.

I was excited for snow because I've been sick of how hot it was all summer... then walking from my train today I was like "gdamnit this sucks" haha. Good thing it'll be back to "fall" weather in a day or 2

We had some flurries a couple of weeks ago when a cold front came through but to this point zero snow sticking. Tahoe got some but it has since melted

This is work from home weather.

I am getting pretty pumped for ski season. Changed it up and went w/ the IKON pass this year, in part b/c it's so easy for me to get to Eldora, and also b/c we're going to Big Sky and Taos this season.

Yeah it could be worse...Montana had that September blizzard lol

I also like this season b/c I have a pretty nice mountain view from my place, and the mountains look great when snowcapped.

Um rivals mod Chris balas and several posters are throwing a fit about um landing Isaiah Todd. That site is just the worst.

I ended up getting a Keystone Plus Pass, and a Copper 5-pack. Prob should have just done the IKON pass but I have a few friends that always get the Epic and come out every year. I'll prob just buy individual day passes / buddy pass discounts if I go to anything not included with what I got (like Winter Park, Steamboat, etc)

@dragonhawk1855 can you find a picture of Jon Teske to use to remind you he’s a better center than anyone on Iowa?
I'll look. but I doubt that he is better than who is on Iowa's roster.

playing while recovering from surgery Garza avg'd
23.6 mpg
13.1 ppg 2nd on the team
144 rebounds
42 TO's
10 steals
17 blocks
53% from the field
80% from the FTL
21-72 from 3

as a FR
21.7 MPG
12.1 PPG
211 Rebounds 2nd on the team behind Cook who had 224 rebounds
35 assists
35 TO's
32 blocks
11 steals
55.7% from the Field
68.1% from the FTL
16-46 from 3.

this season he is 100% and weighs 260 lbs and won't be pushed around like he was last season while recovering from Surgery. although Garza was named the MVP in wins over Oregon and UConn in that tournament last year.

strange even though he was playing after having surgery he outplayed that 5* center of Oregon. to earn that tournaments MVP award.

The UM basketball fan base has taken such a 180. They took the morale high ground with Beilein because he didn’t cheat and now the UM insiders are saying Todd is a dirty recruitment and now some of you suddenly don’t care.

Makes sense. I haven't been to Copper yet.

I was pretty thrilled when ABay bailed on Vail Resorts and is with IKON now.

Marty Schottenheimer thinks Dave Roberts and Clayton Kershaw are choke artist.
can't blame that loss on Kershaw as that loss was all on the manager, wondering on when he gets fired, the game was lost in the 10th inning, extra inning you can't blame the starter.

Yea that one kind of pissed me off... I was holding out and almost got the Vail pass again, because I always enjoy the early/late season at Abay. Then they say they are going solo, only to later announce they are on the IKON (after IKON prices went up).

Ahh well. Keystone is supposedly trying to be the first to open, and plans to stay open until Memorial Day or later this year. I always try to hit a June day at A-bay, maybe I'll have to do it at Keystone/Breck this year

there’s only one beilein, bag wins out in 95% of college basketball

I have a good view of Mount Rose, which will be better from the patio once the leaves fall.

The wife and I have made it goal to attempt skiing this season.

Yeah a lot of people were bummed about ABay doing that. I wonder if they do something w/ Loveland to be the locals pass.

I'll probably use my visits there early/late in the season. It's a blast.

Good luck. It's definitely a great way to get out during the winter.

It's going to be my girlfriend's first season, and I'm a little nervous. Luckily her friends are beginners too so I can go do my own thing (not that I'm incredible or anything, just not gonna sit on greens / easy blues).

Kershaw wasn’t the starter. He came on in the 8th and gave up back-to-back bombs. He absolutely shoulders a ton of the blame.

Kershaw is a starter not a reliever again that loss is solely on the manager. that why you have a bull pen to have relief pitchers to use not starters,

this is not HS or even College. every pro team has multiple relievers in their bull pens. stop blaming a player for trying to do something he is not paid to do.

would you let a welder, plaster your wall. or maybe a single engine pilot flying a 747? in the Pro's they have specialists to do certain jobs.

Worst fvcking analogy ever. Kershaw is a pitcher, reliever or starter makes no difference in the playoffs. That choker has to get the job done.

So let me get this right: a starter can never pitch out of the bullpen?

Roberts never should have kept him in...Kershaw is a massive choker in the playoffs but Roberts should have taken him out after he got the out in the 7th.

Yea he was playing with fire keeping him in, but fvck you can’t give up back to back jacks. That second one was so poorly located Chris Davis would have jacked it.

most team DON'T have their Ace come out of the Bull pen, FOR most it is the regular reliever and mainly its their ACE Reliever and the 4th and 5th starters in the seasons rotation.

now in a situation like that why would you NOT USE your ACE reliever, the dodgers have one of the best Relief pitchers in the league. THAT'S what he gets paid to do.

you do realize that last HR was a Grand Slam right, that made 3 batters reached the bases before that GS

AGAIN the manager made a boneheaded decision in not only putting Kershaw in but by keeping him in there.
