In all seriousness, UM is still going to pretty good next year. Simpson and Teske were solid this year. So was Livers. Wilson will be solid. They’re still going to finish top 4 in the Big Ten.

Fran is 14-24 the past two years in the B1G. Iowa will not finish second.

Probably should sign him to an extension for that .500 conference record this year

Did you make the tourney last year? Then why are you even talking. Just stfu your opinion don't matter Laughing

Why the fvck would Iowa finish 2nd after losing Cook? I know you said you didn’t like him but he was important to your team whether you like it or not. Especially from an athletic standpoint and being able to bang/rebound with the other bigs in the league.

Fran McCaffery Big Ten finishes:
4-14 (10th)
8-10 (7th)
9-9 (6th)
9-9 (6th)
12-6 (3rd)
12-6 (3rd)
10-8 (5th)
4-14 (11th)
10-10 (6th)

That's .500 and 6th or worse in 6 of his 9 seasons. He's basically the anti-Matt Painter, who has finished better than .500 in all but 3 of his 14 seasons (his 1st and the two lost seasons) and has finished 3rd or better 9 times and 4th or better 10 times.

Both coaches had a 2 year hiccup. Painter's were his only two bad seasons (except the 1st) and McCaffery's were his only two good seasons.

How is Fran still employed?

When you have fans cheering for maybe finishing second, it just shows they should stick to wrestling.

Fran and Iowa are match made in heaven.

Yeah who doesn’t need their leading scorer, rebounder, and by far most athletic player?
these were the next in line scorers and rebounding after Cook's 14.9 ppg and 7.9 rpg in 31 mpg.
Garza 13.1 ppg and 4.5 rpg in 23.6 mpg
Jordan 11.6 ppg and 2.4 rpg in 31.1 mpg
Wieskamp 11.1 ppg and 4.9 rpg in 27.7 mpg adding 172 rebounds, 31 assists, 31 steals and 16 blocks from the SF position.
Moss 9.2 ppg and 2.9 rpg, 100 rebounds, 32 steals and 7 blocks.

these will simply move up in scoring. the biggest additions will be these who have prior starts before they RS'd
7'0 Nunge who as a FR had 5.7 ppg, 2.2 rpg with these 91 rpg, 21 steals and 25 blocks in 15.7 mpg, 44.4% from the field, 75.5% from the FTL and 33.3% from 3
6'8 Pemsl who as a FR started 15 games at the 5, until injuries
the 17-18 stats 5.7 ppg, 4.5 rpg

combined as former starters of and on these are the combined stats
11.4 ppg 7.9 rpg so the loss of Cook's 14.9 ppg and 7.9 rpg will be taken care of.

Nunge sucks.

Don’t worry, they’ll start 14-0 with their best win coming against Iowa A and M Tech.

The Fran non con schedule is a monster.

Zip it shit stick. We will have the best OOC in the big 10 next year

Seems like a guy that’s gonna get way too much hype and then average like 5 points a game. Not a shot at UM, just these grad transfers that but up big stats at garbage basketball schools always seem to flame out when they transfer.

Except Bryn Forbes

Usually true, but Tech doesn’t make the title game without Mooney

the 2 years before that he was 22-14 go back 1 more year and Fran was 24-12 and T-3rd. or in 3 years he went 34- 22 that's what got him a 2 year extension and a raise that put him from the 10th place coach to 9th place coach

see I can cherry pick as well.

I’m on the Iowa hype train as much as the next guy, but damn Iowa has an easy non conference schedule.

If it wasn't for some ridiculous hopes and prayers by Jesus they would have lost three additional games and been 7-13 in the conference. Respect to him but the team and coach are still shit.

Couldn't help Oregon, Uconn, and the Cuse weren't that good.

Next season we have Cincy, Iowa st, Texas tech, Creighton, the Acc and BE challenge.

We beefed it up, knowing how good we were gonna be.

Cincy just lost their coach, IA St sucks Winking, Texas Tech is losing like half its team. Have they annouced who is playing in the B1G BE challenge?

My guess is this helps y'all with Quinones.

Quinones grew up a um fan and his mom loves Michigans academics but um was in late on him and the other contenders do not give me hope. Memphis, LSU and Maryland are not the type of program$ Beilein fares well against.
