Livers was the best backup 4 in the Big Ten. You’ll be fine. Probably not top 3 though.
If Matthews and Poole both do the same, that would really sting.
He most certainly does. He’s a likely 2nd round pick at this point. We’ll likely lose Poole too. Every year it seems like Beilein is finally going to have that loaded and deep team and every year we have guys leave early. He’ll find some new pieces and we’ll be near the top of the Big Ten again but I think any serious championship aspirations go out the door with Iggy
MSU is going to return the BTPOY (something that hasn't happened in years) while Michigan will lose 3 non-senior starters. Might be awhile until we win another one vs those guys.
If poole rumors are true, that will make 11 early nba entries under Beilein yet he has never signed a mcdonalds aa. Things that you go hmmmmmm.
Even with the 2 question marks I could still see them finishing top 5.

A year ago, it seemed MSU was going to land Beverly and and UM wasn’t interested. MSU got Watts and now aren’t recruiting Beverly. Now a big target for UM.

Not sure Beverly to MSU was ever going to happen. He didn't even want to play in the B1G for a while, until just lately when he's been considering UM and IU.
Lots of options, no great ones. Brooks would almost certainly start at the 2. He has flashed talent at times but overall been a disappointment. Still think the light could go on for him a big and be an average big ten starter, not much more than that. The 5th starter could be Johns (if he improves a ton), one of Wilson/Bajema, a possible unsigned recruit (Beverly/Wagner), or a grad transfer. I’m confident Beilein will find the necessary pieces for a top 5 finish in the Big Ten.

#43 is pretty highly rated. Who knows if he will be able to contribute right away or not but Wilson is higher rated than the average Michigan recruit.
There were never any specific rumblings about Brooks, just that Beilein was recruiting as though there were going to be multiple open scholarships so people began to speculate. As we see today it looks like Beilein had good reason for that
Zero chance we go into next year without at least one significant add on the perimeter. Situation will be too attractive for us not to land someone good.
UM will be fine. May not be top 3 in the conference next season but will still be competitive. I really liked Castleton out of high school when Purdue was recruiting him. He still needs to put on weight but he’ll fit perfectly in Belein’s system.

Yeah good point. Thought he was rated a little lower than that, near the 70’s, my bad.
MSU may end up starting Malik Hall, who’s ranked 46th, at the 4 so I shouldn’t be talking (although that’s unlikely to happen)
