Iowa was right around 20 IMO, but once Cook bolted they dropped quite a bit. Hawks are probably a bubble out team now.
It is very difficult to keep track of all these schools given the current fluidity. I wouldn't take much stock in what this writer says regarding Iowa.

As of right now, Maryland is returning everybody and also made the round of 32. In a couple days Bruno will probably be leaving, but that is still our only loss from last year.
when I look at the improvement on defense these two were the biggest keys

You lose your all around best player as well. You finished behind Maryland and Maryland has a better class coming in as it stands. Sounds like silly season to me.
He is NOT even close to our best all around player. In fact he sucks.

4* top 110 PG Toussaint #1 pg in NY and #2 overall by the NY media.
but they are not the ones that will make this team better
RSSO 7'+ 250 lb Nunge who as a FR was 2nd on the team in blocks with 25 and T-3rd in steals with 21. who started several games at the 3 and 5 positions
RSJR 6'8 Pemsl who as a SO was 3rd on the team in rebounding with 144 [107 defensive] who has over 20 starts at the 4 and 5. PLUS BOTH were 5th in scoring. that's better than getting a transfer in.

Cook was a big part of the team but their is one aspect of his game that wouldn't be missed is he led the team in T/O's with 82,
on HR there is a discussion about how much Iowa will go up or down depending on Cook leaving, other than dunking and that little in close hook shot he was very limited in shooting range to 5'.
he is the most athletic player on the team and in my opinion is very important but not the MOST important.
Jordan is the most important player on this team and he's back.
