Seriously though we went to Lago for dinner which is a small plate restaurant in the Bellagio. You have a great view of the fountains and the food was good. I would recommend. Shit adds up because its small plates, so if you're with a big party that likes to eat take out a second mortgage.

Who are you going with because recommendations will be drastically different if your going with a bachelor party or SO?

3 couples and a 7th wheel. The guys will pretty much be doing our own thing in the evening.

My friend from Indy I am meeting is big into Craps. Even living in a gambling town I still have never learned. I might give that shot. Normally I am strictly black jack.
Some casinos will open a table in the morning and do very laid back training and then will allow you to bet for a bit and give you guidance. I took my wife several years ago and she was intimidated by it so I took her to a lesson at New York New York and she got comfortable enough to hit the table and loved it.

Craps is awesome. You should definitely learn to play it. Don't be the one guy betting the Don't Pass and Don't Come. While the rest of the table loses, you win and people hate that guy. Find a table that isn't jammed and ask questions, the dealers and box usually love helping out beginners when there isn't a lot of action.

Thanks for the advice. I am staying at New York, New York. My room for 3 nights at The Flamingo was going to be like $650.00 (my friend got Thursday-Monday comped) so he checked out the other hotels and basically got the room at New York New York comped for us.

He gambles a hell of a lot more than I do.

On Sunday or Saturday, reserve at the Westgate Sports Book for the games. I personally love in-game betting. The money line will constantly move every commercial break. If you like bets with upside, It’s aways fun to bet a team that is down two or three scores (hopefully a good team) and you’ll get huge leverage on your bets and win big if the team comes back.

My fav restaurants in Vegas:

1) Momofuku Vegas (Cosmo - can never go wrong with David Chang)
2) Cut (Venetian - this place has the real deal kobe, which is crazy expensive, but it literally melts in your mouth like butter)
3) Bazaar Meat (SLS - only eaten here once as opposed to the many times at the two above, but we went with the whole suckling pig and it was awesome)
4) Wing Lei (Wynn - Peking duck to die for)
5) Fav breakfast/brunch: Bouchon

Admittedly, I’ve rarely eaten at a non-casino restaurant and we consistently hit up #1 and #2 on our annual trips. There are probably many higher rated places, so you have a lot of options, but the above are my personal standouts.

I prefer In-n-Out Burger.

stayed at the Sands in Reno I would guess that their sister hotel in Vegas is on par if not better.

I think that was demolished in the 90s
the one in Vegas to my knowledge was rebuilt, as when I was able to go in 2010 they were advertising their conter part in Vegas,

also at that time they were pushing a major stock sale to build the one in Vegas.

went to Vegas in 2009 for the USBA National Bowling Tourney then to Reno in 2010 to watch my son bowl in the USBA Nationa' Bowling Tournament, the one in Vegas Ibowled in the one in Reno I was unable as I was just 6 weeks removed from having a Triple by pass.
yes I had the OK from the DR. to go. won 675 dollar at the casino.

Illinois opens their first drive with a 57 yd FG. James McCourt boomed one from 53 yds last week. It looks like Illinois' best player is a kicker lol.

We look back to our normal selves. The offense is struggling. Can’t run the ball.

Defense is still very good.

Big Ten looks like shit all around so far:
  • The Nits struggle with Pitt 17-10
  • Maryland shits down their leg against Temple 20-17
  • Illini lose a heartbreaker (is it, really?) to EMU
  • IU get's bitch slapped
  • Buckeyes thump an FCS team
  • Northwestern only up 2 at half on UNLV
  • Minny only up 1 at half on Georgia......Southern
  • MSU losing 3-0 late 1st half at home to ASU
  • Iowa leading ISU just 3-0 early

MSU truly isn’t MSU without injuries to our best offensive lineman. Happens every. Single. Year.

Our kicker, who has never missed an extra point and is 7/7 so far this year, has now missed 2 field goals in a row. JFC.
