He is still a damn good player. I think between the two bigs in Indiana in that class, people see more upside with Trey Kaufman. I personally would be fine with either or.

Izzo is visiting him tomorrow, and he's taking an OV to MSU in January. Izzo also visited AJ Hoggard this morning, as well as Emoni Bates.

MSU had Mady Sissoko on official visit this weekend, as well as unofficials for 2021 SF Pierre Brooks and 2021 5-star SG Max Christie.

Nice yeah he will still be a really good player. IU has Trey Kaufman and Caleb Love on campus for officials this weekend. Ohio State game so it will be a great atmosphere even with 75 percent of the fans being Ohio State fans.

Kaufman seems wide open with IU, Purdue and Louisville with the early bits of chatter. Love is a UNC lean, so IU would have to blow him away during the visit. Archie has been recruiting him for years at this point, so you never know. Romeo has been on campus for about 3 weeks working out and stuff before heading to Boston, so it would be nice if he stuck around another weekend.

Only 75%? Haha

Whats the word on Caleb Furst? Recall people saying he wasn't as good as advertised in the past? Bruising PF type?
all I know is that Fran is recruiting him and 247 has him warm to Iowa. considering what he did with White, he just might be that good. he still has another summer to show what he can do.

so no need to start speculating on his abilities. or worrying either.

You shouldn't worry about anything with Caleb Furst besides having to face him once he goes elsewhere in the B1G.

Fran is about 1-20 recruiting Indiana kids and has never gotten one with an Indiana or Purdue offer.

who cares what you think. he can't sign with anybody far another 14 months and a lot can happen. also the STATE of INDIANA is not Gods gift to the College level BB teams,
Toussaint is from NY
Moss was from Chicago
Ulis is from Chicago
Cook was from Missouri
Garza was from Washington DC
Fredrick is from Ohio by way of Kentucky
Nunge is from Indiana

HMMM do you really think that Fran needs Indiana kids? right now he has offers out to 5 other PF in the 2021 class, with Furst the only one from Indiana.
these are from Iowa
Jordan
Patrick
Connor
Wieskamp
Baer was from Iowa

Indians people over inflate the importance of their instate players to teams outside their state.

Iowa just had 4* PF Murrell out of Nebraska just visited with it a two way race with Stanford. educatiom may win this one
the one I really want is 4* #124 F/C 6'10 Mitchell out of Chicago. very agile shot blocker/rebounder with developing range to 3. reminds me of Olaseni former BT Defensive POY.

Pair him up with Foster @7'0 and that is a very dominating front court.

Fran certainly thinks he does. You naming off a bunch of scrubs not from Indiana does not change that. He continues to take swings at the best players in Indiana and continues to fail. Us Indians do not over inflate anything. Some of the best high school (not prep school) players continue to come from the state of Indiana year in and out.

These kids all have/had offers from Iowa. This list doesn't include the kids that go to La Lumiere (Brooks is different since he is from the state)

2019 Class
Keion Brooks
Trayce Jackson-Davis

2020 class
Anthony Leal,
Trey Galloway
Kiyron Powell

2021 class
Khristian Lander
Luke Goode
J.R. Konieczny
Caleb Furst.

just because they don't choose Iowa mean that they were a swing and a miss

as for scrubs I doubt it
Moss is now at Kansas so Self must have seen something in him
Cook is now with the NBA Nuggets
Garza had offers from Indiana, Georgetown, Louiville and others. scub not hardly
like it or not these were still 4*'s by ESPN and Rivals
Connor TOP 100
Patrick TOP 100 and by Rivals
Wieskamp TOP 100 #42 by Rivals

scrubs? not in this lifetime.

don't care what or how you feel about Nunge that still change the fact that he was a 2 time class 4A the largest class and was the runnerup in the voting for Indiana's Mr. BB. another scrub? I doubt that.

PG Toussaint was a 4* by ESPN just like Jordan was a 4* by ESPN and he has more than proved that he deserved that 4th *.
Toussaint by NYCHoops ranked him the #1 PG in the state of NY and the #2 player in the state of NY, 247 rated him the 5th best player in the state of NY.

your pathetic attempt to trash these players is just that PATHETIC,

I don’t think it’s the geographies that are the issue. The combination of mostly mediocre players from those geographies and most definitely mediocre coaching is driving the overall mediocrity.

Since the decade is coming to a close, what is your teams all-decade team? For Minnesota, I would go with this.

Starters

PG: Nate Mason
SG: Andre Hollins
SF: Amir Coffey
PF: Jordan Murphy
C: Trevor Mbakwe

Bench

PG: Al Nolen
SG: Blake Hoffarber
SF: Austin Hollins
PF: Rodney Williams
C: Daniel Oturu

SG Ryan Cline
SF Dakota Mathias
PF Vince Edwards
C AJ Hammons

ESPN rankings
white players hated by Bossi
assistant hired to teach defense
Nunge Indiana can play 6 positions

Nunge sucks. IU and Purdue didn’t even give him a sniff.
nobody in the state of Ohio offered White either and look at how he turned out.

these guys you call scrubs are just getting started,
FR Toussaint
FR Patrick
RSFR Fredrick
SO Weiskamp
RSSO Connor
RSSO Nunge [red shirted]
then the ones that are upperclassmen
JR Garza
RSJR Pemsl [red shirted
SR Jordan [maybe out for the season]
SR Kriener
RSSR Yelvertson [has not played for Iowa]

most of those are just getting started and yet the ones that played just won 23 games 1 in the BTT and 1 in the 1st rnd of the NCAAT.

Remember both Cook a JR and Moss a RSJR with Former Walk on RSSR Baer former BT 6th MOY have left.

scrubs I doubt it, mediocre results with just 1 SR on the team not even close.

Purdue had 4 SR's, SR's win a lot of the close games.

White lost to a bunch of teams “they were better than.”

Murrell visits iowa...immediately commits to Stanford. Lulz.

Interesting insight on what goes on in some of these recruitments.

Outside of the fact that they have like no bigs, Penn State would be hard to defend:
- 2 of Tony Carr / Tim Frazier / Talor Battle (I'd probably start Carr + Battle)
- DJ Newbill
- Lamar Stevens / Jamelle Cornley
- Mike Watkins (lol)
