Ulis' other offers... woof

DePaul, Illinois-Chicago, New Mexico, Northern Illinois, Siena, and South Dakota
you do realize that Illinois-Chicago just went to FF not that long ago. New Mexico is nobody to ignore nor is SDU, but you can turn your nose at a team that did something lately that your team hasn't sniffed in years.

Players obviously develop at different rates (see Ja Morant and Damian Lillard), but on the whole, players with a bunch of high major offers will be better than players with mid-major offers. It’s really hard to argue against that.

Marble didn't have many if any high major offers and ended up a 1st Team All BT and 2nd rnd NBA PICK
White didn't have any major offers ended up a FR AA, 1st Team All BT and 2nd rnd NBA pick
Jok didn't have any major offers ended up a 1st Team All BT

Fran has done a good job of recognizing and developing players
Jordan didn't have any major offers and look at what he has done,

there are others, Basabe, Olaseni, Clemmons and Baer. I like the 4 year players as they are the glue guys get a the right 4* players that stick around for at least 3 years and you end up with a team that will be able to compete on a yearly basis and not a 1 year wonder.

this is the route Archie is taking, get the glue guys that can develop with a TJD type and maybe a couple 4* players that will stay at least 3 years,

Fran has the 4* players but he needs the athletic glue guys, Ulis and Toussaint provides that, they provide that quick penetrating drive and dish ability and the defensive mind set, plus the athletic ability to get it done,

Farmhand - is Jesus Bohanon going to redshirt this year?

That might - suck?
looking more and more likely, though people always said that he is not a pg and is too slow, so take it for what that's worth if its good or bad.

Toussaint is a much quicker and better defender by reports but is a avg 3 point shooter unlike Jordan's ability to shoot the 3.

is that why teams like WSU, Butler, Creighton, Illinois-Chicago make the FF. as they get players with multiple high MAJOR offers.

And do high majors win the vast majority of the time over mid majors?
not lately, times are changing, but then again the Mid-Major vs high major is a misnomer, with teams signing 4-5 recruits every year and the increasing number of AAU camps increasing the high major can't take them all, this is where teams like Gonzaga, WSU, Crieghton, Butler, Cinncinnati, Xavier or Houston of the AAC, in BB there are no such things as mid majors. only 350 D1 schools,

The key part of my post was “on the whole”. Nothing you said above refutes the argument.

not buying the illinois hype. mid level b1g team at best and could easily see them fighting it out with the Rutgers and Indiana types at the bottom of the standings.

Ayo's shot has been automatic. Good to see our wings figuring things out.
