A top 4 players of
Zavier Simpson
Jon Teske
Franz Wagner
Isaiah Livers
Is hard to beat. And that’s in the country. Those are a very solid top 4 players. In the Big Ten I think I’d still favor MSU’s top 4 of Cash Langford Henry and Tillman, but their is an argument to be made.
UM should be solidly ranked in the top 25 heading into the season. I think having them any lower would be incorrect.

Asked Wednesday afternoon if the athletic department had any signed papers from Wagner, a Michigan spokesman said the school had nothing to announce on a recruiting front at this time.
This is a huge nothing. Idk why you’re pushing back so hard.
That doesn't mean the papers weren't in. Per Balas:
“There is no violation. His paperwork has been in for some time.”
Sounds like the papers have been in and Michigan has been waiting to let Wagner announce when he was ready.
He’s much better than that, nba guys consider him to be a possible 1 and done. 6ft9 with 2 guard skills and considered by some to be the best shooter in his international class. At 17, late in the season he was more impactful than former college stars like derrick walton. He’s the best prospect we have landed since griii and McGary imo.
Really don’t think there’s an argument to be made. Tilman and Cash are significantly better than Teske/Simpson. Henry will take a huge leap and Langford is real solid.
Howard is a miracle worker. Gonna do big things at UM.
Cash is better than Simpson. Not sure why you lumped Tillman into that as being significantly better than Teske, though.

Teske was what, the 4th best player on your team last year? Xavier Tillman was the 2nd best player on a Final Four team. We was good before, but after Ward went down, he was stellar. Keep in mind, I’m very high in Tillman though. I think he probably leaves for the NBA after next year.
Defensively, both are pretty elite. Teske can switch very well for a 7 footer. Tillman guards 1-5 with ease.
You’re right. There isn’t a true argument to be made, but it’s close. Simpson is the 2nd best PG in the Big Ten, Teske is a good player, and I think most people expect a big jump from Livers this year. Throw in an 5 star level recruit, that’s a pretty good top 4.
Coffey scores 17 and dishes out 4 assists with no turnovers in his summer league debut. Wouldn't at all be surprised if he gets a two way contract for next season.
Uhh, did you watch us last year? I’m not talking Nick Ward here. We were so much better defensively with Tillman out there because he could switch so well onto smaller defenders.

I did and he is MUCH better defensively than Ward ever was. But there is a massive chasm between being better than Ward and guarding 1-5 WITH EASE.

Ok. I’ll rephrase. He can switch 1-5 with ease. He has the quickness to guard smaller defenders. But sure, you wouldn’t want him guarding Carsen Edwards for 40 minutes.
