*Official* 2017-2018 B1G In-Season Thread

I'm a miserable f*ck tonight, but watching that Cinci kid ball his eyes out in the stands is giving me some satisfaction. I want everyone else to crash and burn too.

Speaking of... Was just talking to someone that close to the program and apparently Eastern is like a freaking model teammate that’s insanely coachable. People in the AD and on the staff love him. Was excited to hear that, and not surprised based on the way he improved throughout the year and accepted his role.

What moral victory? This all started when one of the MSU guys claimed they were better than Purdue after they had just lost to an 11 seed. Purdue is playing in the S16. Remind me how that’s a moral victory?
Because y’all lost your minds when the comment was made. MSU was the better team, so far this year. If you guys get to a Final four or beyond, then we can revisit. But until then, you’re not the better team and haven’t been all year long.

The funny thing was this wasn't started by a MSU fan. BWesty started it saying the best 2 B1G teams advanced.

Always good to hear. Eastern is going to be a good one Most of that talk is made up because the other person sucks

MSU, Mich, Ohio state, and Purdue all could go 5-5 if they played each team 10 times on a neutral court. Ken Pom rankings: Purdue 4, msu 6, mich 10, osu 17. They’re all really good teams with not one of them being above or below the others. Your guys’s little bitch fest was fun to read though.

Just got back from Detroit. Question for MSU fans, why did Carter play so much and why didn't they stick Langford in middle of zone more often? Seeing that zone in person was wild.

Low-key Michigan State is the new Kansas as far as choking early in the Tournament
They have a load of tourney wins and are a constant high seed??
Is that what you're implying? Ha!

They went to a final four like 4 years ago? And no offense, but Iowa....
Kansas was in a title game 6 years ago.
These teams are remembered more for what they fail to accomplish , rather than what they accomplish. Which is insane with the type of "playoffs" NCAA cbb has.

They both are consistantly in place for high expectations every year. That's a huge credit to the programs and their staffs.

It takes one bad game, sometimes paired with the opponent's extraordinary performance.. so crushing when you've got a loaded team.

I always thought that I had shit on TumTum so much that he'd have a game that made me look stupid. But he didn't score a point in his final 5 NCAA tournament games.

He and McQuaid going a combined 1-9 for 5 total points in this NCAA tournament pretty much sums up MSU's issues. They needed guard depth in the worst way. Would've been really interesting to see them just have one more serviceable guard so they could've played small more often.
