Can't believe Iowa lost that game making the same bone headed plays they have been all year. So close.
and just what were those same bone headed playes please enlighten us as to what they were.

Bohannon playing or starting was a game time decision as he is still battling the Flu. yet he had
17 points, 6 assists, 5 rebounds and 0 TO's,

MSU shot 29 FT's to Iowa 19 FT's. Iowa shredded that great MSU defense.

so again list these so called bone headed plays against a possible FF team with 2 1st round NBA Picks on this team

I can think of 2 boneheaded plays by Iowa right off the top of my head. They were 2 turnovers in the final :31 of the game that effectively cost us the game. Trust me, though, there were a ton more. The first one was the worst offensive possession of the night. Even after we called timeout with :11 on the shot clock, Fran drew up a play that didn't get Tyler Cook the ball on the block. He was a monster all night, that's exactly where they ball should've gone. It instead resulted in a Moss air ball and a shot clock violation. The next one was when we were down 3 inbounding the ball and Dailey thinks it's a good idea to lob a pass to Baer who is halfway between the 3 point line and half court. That gets stolen easily by Bridges, which should've ended the game. We get lucky, a 90% free throw shooter misses both and Baer heaves one from half court for the tie that barely misses. Shall I go on?

leave it to a hater to treat Izzo like a complete MORON that CAN'T possibly draw up a defensive set, after all MSU defense is one of the top 10 Defenses in D1. plus the fact that Jackson and Bridges are possible 1st round NBA picks.

but hey Iowa should have beat MSU by 30 if it had not been for Fran's so called BONE HEADED play calling.

what a total loser.

It's been a long time since Ohio State basketball has been in a matchup as big as tonight’s game with Purdue.
Coach Holtmann has been game planning for an opponent he says with no apparent flaws:

"They're clearly one of the elite teams in the country," he said. "They just don't have really any deficiencies. They're clearly a Final Four, national championship contender. We'll need to be at our very best to give ourselves any chance."

Mackey is going to be rocking. Hopefully, it pushes the home team to victory similar to 2011.

You can't possibly be serious, can you? Where did I say ANY of that? If that's honestly how you respond to what I said, then you know nothing about anything and should do everyone here a favor and not be on these forums

Biggest since that game in 2011 when E’Twaun went off against Sullinger, Buford, and company.

seems like MSU in Mackey two years ago was similar to that.

Think it was two years ago -- the Valentine/Forbes/etc team against Raphael/Hammons/etc

I think my favorite Purdue/MSU game I attended in person was when Kramer and company completely shut down Neitzel. Were you at that game? Probably 07 or 08 maybe.

yep was a fun one. those match ups have always been good.

do think both of the games between the Hammons-Valentine teams that year were incredible games though. that big ten tourney title game was a slug fest.

Let me tell you how good Vincent Edwards is:

Hes down to the final 10 to win a positional award for a position he hasnt even played all year.

Now if we can just get Isaac Haas in the final 10 for nations top point guard

No one claimed that they SHOULD HAVE won. And as @Toast. said, you're the one who predicted one OOC loss, top half of the BIG and an undefeated home record. 0/3 buddy
SHOW ME THE POST, AND YES you did make it very clear that IOWA SHOULD HAVE BEAT MSU., Iowa didn't and it had nothing to do with bad play calling by Fran, take your lies and hatred for Fran elsewhere.

This was my post. Please tell me where it says Iowa should have won. I said it cost us the game, not we should have won. Those are 2 VERY DIFFERENT THINGS

11-2 OOC
12-6 BT 4th place 23-8 overall 7 seed maybe 6th seed

Iowa will lose a couple head scratchers but they will go undefeated at home for a 16-0 home record, 9 BT games and 7 OOC games.

that's my prediction and I am sticking with it.

We can't because it was in the previous BIG thread that got deleted
blah blah blah lie lie lie.
you can't find it as I never posted that.
but this is as close to what I posted.
FOR [NOT WILL] Iowa will have to [go undefeated @ HOME and steal as many games on the road].
nothing more nothing less.

this is what usually has to happen for any team in any conference to win their conference.

well at least 1 person could find it, saying it was deleted make one go hhmmm.

so you did say Fran cost Iowa for the win vs the #4 team in the rankings and 4th in adjusted defense.
so what now Izzo is a moron that can't set up defenses in the last 31 seconds of a game? in what 9 posts? go back to HR or Hawkeye Nation to bitch.

Fran did not cost this team a win. last night the players went head to head with a potential FF team and you're over here bitching about it,
42 points in the 1st half and then 51 points in the 2nd. God get a life.
