MSU’s Hauser waiver denied

So he hates it for everyone else, but only loves it b/c it would benefit his team?

Noted

I think what he’s saying is that Izzo doesn’t like the transfer rules but if this is the system then you have to operate within it. You may as well appeal the NCAA’s decision and try to get it waived.

It doesn’t have anything to do with character or some stupid quote he made at some point in time. He’s just doing what he can to improve his team. Why not appeal?

Exactly. Why would Izzo not pursue a waiver if those are the current rules?

No. Izzo said he feels Hauser has as good or better case than others who have been granted waivers. Frustrated by the randomness of ncaa waiver.

Also your argument doesn’t make sense. Izzo shouldn’t go to bat for his player because he doesn’t like the current transfer rules? He wouldn’t be doing his job if that’s the case.

Izzo has said all along he doesn't like the transfer rules - doesn't mean he's not gonna go to bat for a kid who could benefit from the them. He's obviously frustrated because he feels Hauser has as good or better of a case than many others who have been approved.
And what case would that be?

Did you not see my post above when the other Michigan State fan explained the clarification?

I'm not the NCAA and neither are you. I don't have to explain shit. You think they just play paper rock scissors and then go to Dave & Busters for a skee ball tournament?

yes I do. I think it’s corrupt as shit. This is just another example. You said they didn't follow the rules. What exactly are these rules?

Which is what I’m mocking. I don’t think izzo is wrong for being annoyed about how and when the NCAA grants its waivers.

I’m mocking him for going on rants about how we are teaching kids wrong lessons by allowing transfers without penalty while clearly having no problem with Hauser getting a bad (by his logic) life lesson.

He transfered. He has to sit out. It appears the others had valid reasons. What does the NCAA gain by giving waivers to others and not Hauser? What do they gain by doing it?

Valid reasons just stop. So Joey Brunk transferring is all good bc Butler doesn’t have a parks and recreation grad program. It’s all a sham

I think people on here are making a bigger deal about Izzo because of their dislike for him than it actually is. We all know the NCAA is a sham, and while he doesn’t agree with the transfer rules, you have to play the game. He just thinks it’s silly that Hauser wasn’t granted eligibility while other people were for seemingly no reason

Brunks was a GRAD TRANSFER what is so hard about that understand,

when it comes to GT the rules are clear about them being eligible IMMEDIATELY, there is no debating that. or can be used when comparing it to these players.

this a apple to watermelon comparison,

Well to be fair Micah Potter and the transfer from Nova both were denied as well.

And I wonder- why didn’t hauser’s Brother apply for a waiver as well if they had a good case?

I know there is a grad transfer component. We have had them in the past as well. You have to transfer to a school with a grad program your current school doesn’t have ( unless I’m completely wrong about that). I think the rules are ridiculous. I’m glad Brunk and every other student athletes waiver was approved. It’s insane to deny any of them when it’s so arbitrary. Micah Potter deserves to be approved and so does every other student athlete who wants to leave. I just used Brunk as an example of an approval (within the rules) however the reasoning for the transfer is laughable. Let him transfer and be eligible because he wants to be at IU not some dumb rule. Give everyone a free transfer with no wait and after that you have to sit. It seems pretty easy to me

Virginia wanted him to wait, this is their rebuilding year. They’re supposed to be very good next year. It made sense for them. They get him for 1 year and would have preferred it be next

You ever hear of The Donald Syndrome? You may want to replace Donald with Izzo and get that checked out.

Izzo can think that the rules are complete BS and he pissed that within these stupid rules that his player got denied while others do not. It’s asinine and calling it out is entirely appropriate whether or not Harbaugh agrees or disagrees. He has no affect on the situation other than UM fans to get their shots in. Thus the point of this thread.

Do you think Izzo thinks letting Hauser play would teach him a bad lesson?

It’s Trump Derangement Syndrome. At least get it right if you’re going to use it.

Izzo just rage quit his position on the NABC board of directors because of a decision he didn’t like and we’re the salty ones lmao

Tou can do things like that when you’re Izzo. He’s built his career, his legacy, and he doesn’t have anything left to prove. If he doesn’t agree, f them. He does as he pleases and doesn’t need to apologize for jackassery from the NCAA.

Whether it’s warranted or not, Izzo is clearly salty.

There are some salty indiana, depaul , michigan and other fans in here. Show me on the doll where Tom Izzo (one of the goats) hurt you. Probs in the loss column.
