Whoops
I think Indiana will really strive with the 4 quarter system in the NIT. Let us all know how it goes.
Don't get why people keep bringing it up. IU will not win enough to make the NIT.
Will Crean accept a CBI invite?Don't get why people keep bringing it up. IU will not win enough to make the NIT.

No one has a larger collection of awful takes than OP. Solid reminder.Whoops

One game against a team thats thrown in the towel doesnt mean much.

He avgs 7/1/1.
Virginia plays super slow so his per game averages look bad to the casual fan
But Kyle Guy is averaging 27.9 points per 100 possessions with an ORtg of 118.8
To put that into perspective, Swanigan is averaging 33 points per 100 possessions with an ORtg of 117.4
This might be the best prediction Ive made since I predicted NWs first tourney appearance.
Extrapolate that out 4 years and its 28/4/4
Hell, Malik Monk is averaging 34.6 points per 100 possessions with an ORtg of 121.8, so there's that.
Here's the thing though. Players don't become top recruits in a class coming out of high school based on college production alone. Tyler Ulis wasn't the #1 player in the 2014 high school recruiting class because he was the best player came back to college in 2015 from that class. Karl-Anthony Towns was, and still is the best player to come out of that 2014 class, by a pretty big margin too.
I guarantee you, there will not be a time at any point in his career that Kyle Guy averages 28/4/4. He may not even average that over the course of 3 games. Hell, may not average that over the course of 2 games at any point in his career.

Kyle Guy will have more points, rebounds, assists, 3s, and wins during his career at UVA than Monk will have during his career at Kentucky.
Is this even debateable?
Guy will also have more tournament wins
Monk's gonna have 6. I'm think Guy might pass him over 4 years barely. It'll be close.

I don't think Guy is going to tally more stats over the next three years than someone who will be playing 82 games a year over the same span.
Well, it's not like UK will play a man down for the next three seasons.
Betcha the Cats add one or two guys that also have better single seasons than Guy does in the next three seasons. Betcha they reference Monk as a reason they chose UK too.
Guy has an awesome man bun though. He wins that at least.

Maybe you should read my sentence carefully then. I know reading comprehension isn't a strong suit for most Kentucky fans.
I guess you're counting SEC tourney wins too
