While I agree with you, it would help your cause if your UK hate wasn't so obvious. You and Exit hate UK so much that if Lebron was on the UK roster, you both would spend your days doing everything you can to cut him down.

Incredibly dumb take considering he's a home grown KY boy, son of a former UK player that won 2 titles while he was there. Dook was never in the equation as to where Reed was going to college.

No I hate UNC more. I've always been fair towards UK, you're just a massive homer.
I have watched Sheppard in college and a few hs games. There is no way he is a typical dukie. I have yet to see him trip someone or slap the floor.
But he's not. They're different players. Shep better all-around player. Knecht better scorer. Also worth noting, Knecht is 4 years older.

Age is an excuse. One player is better and that is Knecht. I know it and you know. One player is in contention for National player of the year (Knecht) and not Sheppard.
When Sheppard transfers to Duke this whole conversation is going to end anyway, so let it go.

The fact that this is Knecht's 5th year of college basketball makes this a moot comparison. Knecht was good last year out west, but as a freshman, he must not have been all that great or he would have been recruited to a better basketball program than Northern Colorado or whatever it was.
Reed's numbers have taken place in year 1. End of comparison.
....and he sure as hell ain't transferring, Della. I know his return next year scares you, but I'm more concerned with losing him to the NBA.

Who plays better defense? Who impacts the game more? Knecht is playing at a place that allows him to shoot 30 times per game, maybe because he has to. But he ain't getting 30 shots at Duke, Kansas, UNC, UK...

David Robinson, Pete Maravich, Chris Jackson and now Dalton Knecht are players that scored 40 or more against UK.

I've been complementary on Knecht. He's a really good player. Great scorer. Shep has a higher basketball IQ, better all-around player.
If Shep were to spend another season or 2 in college, who knows how good he would be.
Knecht is asked to do a lot more on his team. If you switched the players, do you think they would have the same impact?
I think Reed would have a bigger impact on UT than Knecht would at UK. Simply because UK has a more talented roster and DK wouldn't be asked to do as much.
Knecht is shooting 47% from the floor and 40% from 3 on insanely high usage. The fact that his efficiency is that high with the type of shots he take shows you how good he is.
Reed Sheppard won't be an All-American. Stop with this insane comparison.

I complimented duke in January and February when they were surging. Well, they have leveled off and have been exposed.
Me saying UK is better than duke and the SEC is better than the ACC, are both true statements.
We had to eat shit the last 20 + years by ACC, BIG10 and BIG12 fans, because the SEC was behind those conferences, well, it's the ACC's turn to clean the bottom of the tank. There is 1 elite team. (unc) and 2 good teams (duke and Clemson). That’s it. The SEC has 4 FF threats and 2 more that could get there with the right matchups.

If Shep had a high IQ he would have gone to Duke where he belongs. So, that is disproved.
And if Knecht cared about winning a title, he would've went to KU for a better shot than at UT
