Dalton Knecht just landed an endorsement deal with Jordan, but I ain't bragging cause word is that Sheppard is close on a deal with Yella Lumber as he'll be an expert on riding the pine.
He can’t guard his man and AD’s too…..
Good point, if the Lakers had allowed Knecht to play all game they might have been able to pull it out! 20 mins= 18+20 mins= 18+ 8 mins +8 would equal to 42 points. I'm sure they will wise up!

The Rockets entire offense is just guys playing ISO ball. I watched 2 of their preseason games and 2 regular season games. Reed was open, ready to shoot about 5-6 times each game and the player with the ball never even looked his way. I really wish he would've gotten drafted by a different team.
Knecht has looked pretty good in his minutes. The Lakers are not deep at all, so they're kind of relying on DK to provide minutes and scoring and he's doing well so far.

Lets compare 19 year old Dalton Knecht to 19 year old Sheppard instead of 23 year old DK to 19 year old RS.
Will RS be better at 23 than he is right now at 19? I think so.

So, you're saying Knecht has an unfair advantage and that is why he is better than Sheppard?

That's not an advantage, it's just time and maturity.
Ole Yella will probably be in the UK broadcast booth at 23 color commentating. If he wasn't ready to play ball with the bigs, he should have stayed in college.
He was a top 3 pick.in the draft, would you turn thst kind of coin down?
What was he going to learn in college, under NCAA restrictions, that he wouldn't learn under NBA coaching?
Notice how much better these players are almost immediately after leaving college? Especially the players that came through UK.
Great play, but one play. Sheppard the leader choked against Oakland with just one basket and led UK to an embarrassing exist in the NCAA tourney. Knecht took UT o the E8 and scored 37pts against Purdue. This is the difference, Knecht is a stalwart and Sheppard is a choker.
Knecht is like 4 years older and way more athletic. He should’ve scored 47 instead of 37. He’s one of the best to ever play at UT and couldn’t get them to a Final Four. Major choke job on his part.

Yup, 19 year old Sheppard peed down his leg, most freshmen wilt under the brightest of lights. If Sheppard was in that sake situation at 22/23 years old, that wouldn't happen.
There's a huge difference between frehmen and seasoned veterans and I've been saying it for years.
It is definitely an advantage for a athlete to be athletic. Knecht couldn't get UT past the E8 and Sheppard could get UK past no name Oakland. Which is the bigger embarrassment?? 😆
Your boy wasn’t doing the things Sheppard did at his 19 let along doing it at a place like Kentucky. We all get you love to hate on anything UK but sometimes you make it to obvious. As far as Oakland beating us do you wanna set there and act like UT hasn’t ever taken a loss that it shouldn’t? What you don’t/can’t understand is that teams like that get up and play out of their mind crazy when they play a blue blood like UK, Duke, UNc and Kansas. You’re a UT fan so you’ve never got to experience that. You of all people should know how sports work. You’ve told us for 5 straight years how great Barnes is and how this is the year he has his best team only to not make that elusive final four that you and your fan base so badly wants.

You guys haven't been a blueblood in ages. Barnes forced Cal to leave UK. Can you believe that UT kicked y'all's ass for all those years? However, now most in the conference beats the hell out of UK, so that isn't as big a deal as it use to be.

We have established that Knecht was more clutch, higher scorer and more athletic. We have established that Sheppard is immature, but maybe someday he will grow up. 😆
I dont know how much effort she's putting in, but the comebacks seem effortless. She always has something to say back, even if it may be wrong sometimes. I like her back and forths with you and jeff.

Well, UK and Sheppard did beat UT and Knecht in Knoxville just before losing to Oakland, so technically UT lost to Oakland too.
