Knecht showed up big in all games against UK and in the NCAA, poor little Yella.Well, UK and Sheppard did beat UT and Knecht in Knoxville just before losing to Oakland, so technically UT lost to Oakland too.

Gasp, that Tennessee education let you down on this one. I'm disappointed.Your making excuses cause your boy can't match up and that is the simple truth of it. We are talking about Oakland in reference to Sheppard totally choking on the biggest stage. You guys haven't been a blueblood in ages. Barnes forced Cal to leave UK. Can you believe that UT kicked y'all's ass for all those years? However, now most in the conference beats the hell out of UK, so that isn't as big a deal as it use to be.
Really grasping aren't ya??Gasp, that Tennessee education let you down on this one. I'm disappointed.
He did get kinda owned in the last game in Knoxville though. Sheppard out gunned him there.Knecht showed up big in all games against UK and in the NCAA, poor little Yella.
Gotta take em when I can. You don't give me many openings like this.Really grasping aren't ya??
Knecht scored 40pts and Sheppard 27pts.He did get kinda owned in the last game in Knoxville though. Sheppard out gunned him there.
Ouch, that hurt, seems a bit harsh. They are effortless, but look what I'm up against.
Shep made his team better, DK didn’t.Knecht scored 40pts and Sheppard 27pts.
I'm a Della fan, she's very clever with her responses. I know she hates UK, but at least she is punching up.I dont know how much effort she's putting in, but the comebacks seem effortless. She always has something to say back, even if it may be wrong sometimes. I like her back and forths with you and jeff.
Jeff, I wasn't including you in that response.Ouch, that hurt, seems a bit harsh.
If getting your ass sent home by Oakland is making your team better, ok.Shep made his team better, DK didn’t.
I don't hate UK, I even liked Cal. I'm not as clever as you think, y'all just choose to defend indefensible positions.I'm a Della fan, she's very clever with her responses. I know she hates UK, but at least she is punching up.
Oh I was included, but it’s okay, I have thick skin.Jeff, I wasn't including you in that response.
Oakland was obviously better than UT.If getting your ass sent home by Oakland is making your team better, ok.
Hmmm, I don't know Dells, you really appear to hate uk with the heat of a thousand suns.I don't hate UK, I even liked Cal. I'm not as clever as you think, y'all just choose to defend indefensible positions.
Jeff, I'm fond of you and that is all I can say.Oh I was included, but it’s okay, I have thick skin.
😜Jeff, I'm fond of you and that is all I can say.
Now you're just babbling crazy talk.Oakland was obviously better than UT.
I mean, UK owned UT in Knoxville just 2 weeks before Oakland beat our asses on a neutral court.
If it’s a UK player I’m sure you would know.😂It's when I start laughing. How is Ole Yella doing tonight They are playing I think.
Knecht is 23 and Ole Yella should have stayed in school and got an education.Clearly for this year, it's 24 year old Knecht. But for their NBA careers, I'd take 20 year old Shephard without hesitation.
Yeah, but I haven’t seen him for a while on here.He is an instigator, but not a warrior.
He was a finance major last year, day one of the class, they told him, if you ever have the chance to make millions on your projected abilities, you would be an idiot to turn it down.Knecht is 23 and Ole Yella should have stayed in school and got an education.
According to you he will only have bigger chances to make millions as he ages. You had a change of heart? 😆He was a finance major last year, day one of the class, they told him, if you ever have the chance to make millions on your projected abilities, you would be an idiot to turn it down.
All those college kids that stay 4 years are trying to better themselves, so they can have a successful financial career in the workforce.
If Betty Boop in economics was offered lottery pick money, she ain't gonna say no, neither would you.
Now Della, you're either pretending to not inderstand, or you are having a bad day.According to you he will only have bigger chances to make millions as he ages. You had a change of heart? 😆
If someone wants to offer me 10 times my current income to do the same job whether I'm prepared for the step up in class, I'm taking it every day.Knecht is 23 and Ole Yella should have stayed in school and got an education.
Heupel really has let himself go. Looks more like a former O lineman than Heisman runner-up QB.
They were your words Jeff, not mine. Are you saying the NBA doesn't draft on ability, just potential? Do you think 23 is an old man and past his prime? The thing about potential is it can sometime never be achieved. Do you want one in the hand or two in the bush? If you're hungry you probably want one in the hand. Now Della, you're either pretending to not inderstand, or you are having a bad day.
First, the NBA drafts on potential and they will pay top dollar for guys that are younger, because they have more years playing at a high level.
Second, that comment was made by me when talking about comparing Knecht and Reed today. If you project how Reed will be playing when he's 24, he will most likely have better stats that Knecht is putting up right now.
When Knecht was 19, he was so bad, his stats aren't even online. We have to go to 21/22 when he was a 22 year old junior at NCU. He averaged 14.8ppg, 1.5apg and shot 36% from 3 point range.
In Sheppard's freshmen season at UK, he averaged 17.2ppg, 6.2apg and shot 52% from 3 point range. He did that coming off the bench.
If the roles were reversed, you would not allow a 19 year old to be compared to a 24 year old.
Come on now, let me have this one, as witty as you are, I don't think you have an argument here, especially since both guys are playing on different NBA teams and are in different situations. Their current situations aren't really comparable.
I suppose you're sporting the Mark Stoops physique, Kev? I'll bet you're an eyeful at the beach.Heupel really has let himself go. Looks more like a former O lineman than Heisman runner-up QB.
I'm sure the guys at Seattle Computer Systems thought the same thing when they sold their operating system to Bill Gates. If someone wants to offer me 10 times my current income to do the same job whether I'm prepared for the step up in class, I'm taking it every day.

Congrats on finding the exception rather than the rule.I'm sure the guys at Seattle Computer Systems thought the same thing when they sold their operating system to Bill Gates.
Well, if he is going to be better then why not sell later instead of leaving money on the table?Congrats on finding the exception rather than the rule.
That’s exactly what Ihm saying. You don't see 23 year olds going lottery in the draft, those go to the really young phenoms that have more years of playing at a high level ahead of themThey were your words Jeff, not mine. I think Knecht is the phenom and Sheppard is a pig in a poke. Knecht was the scoring leader for everyone under 7ft in the NCAA last year and Sheppard was not. Knecht performed best in the biggest games and Sheppard choked. So, our issue is the definition of phenom. That’s exactly what Ihm saying. If you were running an NBA franchise, you would be a fool to take Knecht over Sheppard if you had one of the top 10 picks.
Sheppard's stats when he's 24, are projecting to he much higher than what DK's are right now.
Well, this is why Women don't usually manage anything in sports.I think Knecht is the phenom and Sheppard is a pig in a poke.
