He did get kinda owned in the last game in Knoxville though. Sheppard out gunned him there.

Clearly for this year, it's 24 year old Knecht. But for their NBA careers, I'd take 20 year old Shephard without hesitation.

Now Della, you're either pretending to not inderstand, or you are having a bad day.
First, the NBA drafts on potential and they will pay top dollar for guys that are younger, because they have more years playing at a high level.
Second, that comment was made by me when talking about comparing Knecht and Reed today. If you project how Reed will be playing when he's 24, he will most likely have better stats that Knecht is putting up right now.
When Knecht was 19, he was so bad, his stats aren't even online. We have to go to 21/22 when he was a 22 year old junior at NCU. He averaged 14.8ppg, 1.5apg and shot 36% from 3 point range.
In Sheppard's freshmen season at UK, he averaged 17.2ppg, 6.2apg and shot 52% from 3 point range. He did that coming off the bench.
If the roles were reversed, you would not allow a 19 year old to be compared to a 24 year old.
Come on now, let me have this one, as witty as you are, I don't think you have an argument here, especially since both guys are playing on different NBA teams and are in different situations. Their current situations aren't really comparable.
If someone wants to offer me 10 times my current income to do the same job whether I'm prepared for the step up in class, I'm taking it every day.

That’s exactly what Ihm saying. You don't see 23 year olds going lottery in the draft, those go to the really young phenoms that have more years of playing at a high level ahead of them
If you were running an NBA franchise, you would be a fool to take Knecht over Sheppard if you had one of the top 10 picks.
Sheppard's stats when he's 24, are projecting to he much higher than what DK's are right now.
I think Knecht is the phenom and Sheppard is a pig in a poke. Knecht was the scoring leader for everyone under 7ft in the NCAA last year and Sheppard was not. Knecht performed best in the biggest games and Sheppard choked. So, our issue is the definition of phenom.
Well, this is why Women don't usually manage anything in sports.
