Well, looks like Mitchell discovered a new talent while he was injured. Now he dominates the sideline highlight reels.
Too old, he’s going to have to work out for teams and earn his way on. He’s good enough, that’s for sure.
This has been the most fun team Cal has had full stop. They probably won't cut down the nets but damn if it's not a great watch night in night out
They are a ton of fun to watch. When they are rolling they can just overwhelm you. This is all with Dillingham having a pretty bad game as well.
Its weird. My phone has been silent for 20 minutes, now. Getting 100 text per minute on how bad the officiating was.
Now.....crickets.
We are giving them so many open 3s. Fortunately they have missed a lot of them. But can't count on that to continue.

THIS UK team today, could be a problem. But can they do it for 6 straight?
The good thing about having so many shooters is that it drastically cuts down on the chances the team as a whole has a bad shooting night. Someone should be on at all times theoretically. Plus they are a good foul shooting team. And now that the defense is improving,,,,
Sheppard is playing like a top 10 pick and Wagner is playing like he should return to school.
UT has missed some open looks but they have also taken some bad threes, which is what they do at times when they are struggling offensively.

Yeah, and that's the difference in these two teams. UK is going to score. Someone will be making shots. For UT that isn't the case. They may have to win some games defensively when they can't score. That isn't as big an issue this year but it's still an issue IMO. For UK it is hoping you don't run into a team that your defense simply can't stop.
Shep is having a helluva game! Any chance this guy's blood runs blue enough to stick around for another year?

Refs have let both teams play in the second half and we've been rewarded. Fantastic game
