Wouldn't be a KU-MSU game if it didn't involve a huge MSU comeback. Never fails. We go up double digits and MSU comes back and either wins or comes down to the Final possessions.
We lost to the number 1 team in the country by 5 while shooting terribly from the stripe.
I thought we would lose by more than 5 when the game started.
You were also trolling about how much MSU sucked the entire game.
I had to step away and then started the FSU game. I was surprised that the game got so close at the end.
This game completely flipped the narrative.
Based on the exhibitions, everyone concluded that KU was an offensively challenged turnover machine that would rely too heavily on Lawson for offense.

No and thats the problem we have zero guard depth.
Only PGs Izzo has recruited last 4 years are Winston and Loyer (the small white guy who played a few minutes, hes a frosh).
The other guard is freshmen Aaron Henry who is supposed to be our most ready to play frosh.
Other than that, McQuaid will have to help out at the 1 and 2 some even though he starts at the 3 for us.
Winston, Langford and McQuaid are the main core of the backcourt.
Aaron Henry is a SG / SF that should help there. He had the inbounds dunk last night but that was about it. His FT shooting looked sus
Loyer is tiny, but he actually looked pretty composed out there considering the opponent/circumstances. Didn't get rattled, hit a smooth jumper, made some nice passes. He's tiny though, so defense will likely be an issue.
Michigan St looked pretty solid to me. I don't think that was KU's A game, and they seemed a little complacent in the second half, but still would've blown a lot of teams out last night.
