The Royals have as many World Series titles as Kentucky has tourney wins over KU.

I just think it’s stupid to say that UT hasn’t kicked butt the past couple years when they have relative to their prior success.
Obviously their success wouldn’t be okay with Uk/Duke/UNC/etc because the standards are not the same.

Well, they are a little relevant when you're specifically referring to success in conference play. Difficult concept, I know.
I was surprised to see UK has more conference tournament titles than KU this decade.
That’s a good point. Barnes is doing really well at Tennessee. What’s worse for UK fans is Cal seems to go fetal coaching against his buddies. Alford took 3/4 from us before he was fired. Crean seemed to coach some of his best games against us too. Now both Crean and Barnes are in the SEC where we get to play them 2 and 3 times a year.
Hopefully Alford doesn’t end up there too because that will guarantee at least 3 losses a year.

As far as Rick Barnes dominating the SEC, that's interesting, what did they win last year? A whole lot of nothing. They didn't win the regular season or the tournament titles. So what, they won the regular season two years ago, UK beat them in the SECT game. So tell me again how Barnes has been dominating the SEC.
However, Barnes has had veteran teams since he has been at UT, which…… AGAIN… .proves the point I was making earlier… ..that you probably didn't read. I'll say it again:
In order to win it all in cbb, you EITHER have to have A VETERAN TEAM with size, athletesism and great coaching

If you’re going to go the young team route, you better have at least 1 transcendent player (+ a bunch of really good players around him) or a generational player with a good, not great, team around him. Plus good coaching.
I guess you need someone on that college gameday set to say what I'm saying for you to agree with me. Eventually they will because they keep flying that duke flag every March only to see them come up short time and time again. I love that smirk on Bilas' face on Selection Sunday when he's telling everyone "Duke is the best team and it's not close". Then he has to explain "what had happened" after each early exit.

Seriously though. Name one program that was consistent enough to have won the Big 12 from 2005 through 2018.
Just don’t see the point of bashing something that one’s own program couldn’t have matched.
But contrary to what you might think, the streak isn’t a huge deal to the average KU fan.

Kentucky’s number of conf tourney titles this decade has nothing to do with the issue at hand.
And saying that a team has performed well in their conference doesn’t equate to having dominated the conference.
