If I'm Bob Huggins....

I saw this post on wvu message board and I also watched the game again to see how bad it was and what this guys seen was spot.

"So I did what Huggins told me to do went and watched the tape in detail...slow motion...and again...and again The tape doesn't lie.

The officials were not consistent with their calls in the second half. Contact on one end was not called...while contact on the other end was. We missed some open shots. We ran "delay" 6 times...with two of those being within the flow of the game heading up to the 8:00 timeout. One one we ended up with a 3 by Dax.

The back to back calls of no foul when getting it into Sags for a turnaround jump hook...and then a phantom call on Esa when he ends up with a blow to the face was egregious. Terrible...considering what had been called on the other end. (ex. Their guy taking a dive with West touching him as he set a moving screen...and a touch of the armpit by Routt when their guy is making an off balance shot.

Perhaps the most insane by Luckie was the call of a "on the floor" foul on Dax on the rebound that made it a 1and1 when Dax is obviously trying to put back a rebound.

Then you have Esa and Javon on back to back drives to the hole...I thought from listening to everyone that we didn't go to the hole...but we did!!!...get sent to the floor...specifically Javon getting hit "low"...where they called us on that with two in the second half...one where Sags is just standing behind the guy as he misses a bunny rebound...

Just enough to make you puke.

We can all think about what we saw...but Huggs is right. The game was not called the same way on both ends of the floor...and it cost us a chance to win.

We actually had some good shots that didn't fall...rimmed out...etc...but the shots where we took it to the hole and tried to go inside...the whistles never came. Actually...two did...for the knowledgeable Kansas fans...one with Carter and one with Sags at the beginning of second half...but the last 8 minutes there were no whistles on that end. None!

The no call on Sags getting fouled (Luckie's call...right in front of him) followed by the Higgins call from the wing on Esa going for the rebound and getting "incidental contact" to the face was criminal.

Interesting how one is "incidental contact"...but we are going to put their guy on the line to go up 68-66 on a call 48 feet from their basket on a rebound....where our guy ends up bleeding from a fist to the face.

Wow.

Yea...Huggs...I watched the tape and you were right.

All those others that want to say something else...go watch the tape...then talk.

Criminal"

Forgot to mention that one...

Esa goes to the bench bleeding after taking a karate chop to his face, and KU shoots 2 FT's.

Can't make this stuff up.

Already been told by a KU fan ITT that offensive fouls dont count to the team foul total.

Who isn't doing themselves any favors? SmokinSmile
He already admitted he got the NBA and NCAA mixed up. Honest mistake which he accounted for.

Again, let it go dude.

Again, 95% of my posts in this thread are replies to KU fans trying to defend the refs.

If you guys cant let it go even after a win, why should I let it go when my team got bent over by the refs and lost?

I tried to end that other thread 5 pages ago.

I am wondering where I can find a "general rule book" where they combine the rules of the NBA and NCAA. Any idea where I can find it? I looked on Amazon but it still can't find it. Thanks.

Actually on Saturday night, one of the threads we started shooting the shit about playing video games on the original Nintendo NES and Atari. The conversations about the game were pretty well hashed out. Then you said you were going to drop and low & behold, you started the same thing up the next morning.

It was my bad. I googled it just to double check if I was right or wrong. That's what I meant by "rule book". Read one of the links answers but didn't catch the "NBA/WNBA" part of the link. After ChiTownSean post I double checked it closer and saw my mistake and then found a link being more clear on the college difference in the rule.

I don't know why. But like I've been trying to tell you guys for 24+ hrs... i'm not just talking about on ball fouls.

Forget the fact miles got no call when being hammered on multiple drives to the basket. We should've been in the bonus in both halves off Azabuike push offs alone.

I posted a video of Konate getting his 3rd foul just for turning and posting up. Your big man puts two hands on a guys back and throws him across the floor and gets no call.

Fouls:

.
You don't know wht this is a foul? I do.

Maybe... too lazy to go and look back.

35-2 deserves it.

Talk about hypocritical. Just start blaming yourself from here on out when posters keep responding after the 10 times you said you were dropping the subject. I like you as a poster but losing almost every reason to give you the benefit of the doubt.

Oh well...

The more I see KU posters saying it shouldve been worse than 35-2... the fewer fvcks i give

Of course we paid them, we always pay them !!. The difference with blue bloods, is that we pay them a LOT and they know we'll pay them again next year. You guys... not so much.

#suckstobeyou

Being me is great, you are the one that sucks. Laughing

I don't ever recall in my 60 years of following Kentucky basketball that they ever "home courted" any team that bad! That is a stat to really be ashamed of. (sorry for ending that sentence in a preposition - it just sounded good.)
