Because the NCAA stated that it was out of their jurisdiction due to the fact that the classes were available to non-student athletes. That is the very definition of a loop hole.
The ncaa didn’t punish UNC because taking the AFAM class wasn’t an impermissible benefit. It wasn’t an IB because athletes were treated the same as regular students.

The REASON the class wasn't an impermissible benefit is because it was available to non-atheletes as well. How can you guys not wrap your brains around that absolutely concrete fact?
They don’t understand there was no loophole. The AFAM class was never on the table for discussion with the NCAA.
And UNC knew that by allowing regular students to take the AFAM (sham) class that they created a get out of jail free card, IE, the loophole.

Not only was it available to regular students, they outnumbered athletes in the class.

The Weinstein report was brought up when one of your fans said that academic fraud never occurred. No one is arguing for (at least that I've seen) the NCAA to go back and punish you guys, we are arguing for you guys to admit you committed widespread academic fraud with your athletes (and non-athletes) for years. Duh, but the difference is, this was a sham class and it was created to keep athletes eligible, but regular students took advantage of it too. It was not a real class dude.
