Not sure I've ever seen a team mesh so well together in game 1 than I did tonight either. Duke looked mid-season. Scary.

Folks impressed by Zion yet? Us Dukies have seen this since Canada. It’s way more than dunking. His (and RJs) ability to finish in crazy traffic and WITH contact is surreal. And a GREAT attitude.
Jack White, all day. 9 pts, 11 boards. Again, a lot of Dukies saw this Duke team as being deep enough in the right way, and K has spoken extensively about that.
Really unselfish.

I've always been a Notre Dame fan growing up but I wasn't smart enough to get in for college. I went to IU for college and grew to love it. I root for both in both sports.
Don't forget K getting rolled by 30 against UNLV. Only to come back the next season with the same teams to beat UNLV. Cal is gonna have to coach up this team defensively big time or there will be issues all season.

Went over to Rafters to see how folks were talking it. There are some miserable motherfers mixed in over there... Morgousky, Cowtown Cat, Cawood... Jesus. All piss and vinegar and bashing every Duke fan for the last few months about how Cam Reddish is basically average and Zion is fat and slow and can’t shoot and will suck when faced with real players and Barrett is overrated and the only way Duke can keep it close is the refs and how UK is going to absolutely DESTROY Duke, even though there was no rational way to compare them and come up with that... just irrational Duke hate like I can’t imagine any adult having. Nobody does over-the-top bitter asshole fans like BBN

To be fair everyone knows RR is a cess pool of delusional homeboard posters without the slightest ounce of rational.
With that being said if you read the game thread every poster was giddy and pounding their chest about what an ass beating it would be. About 4 minutes into the game they began turning in each other like it was the purge.

Yeah, I was really shocked by how overwhelmingly confident UK fans were. I actually picked UK to win, but it seemed like there were SO many UK fans predicting a complete blowout.
It is difficult to imagine that Duke can or will play any better than they did last night. I haven't seen a Duke team play like that in a while.
So I'm not allowed to root for Notre Dame anymore just because I went to IU? Get the f*ck out of here.
