I didn't watch any of it but I think it just goes to show that there is just a lot of disparity this year. There isn't a group of elite teams this year like usual.

Absolutely. It's a stupid strategy, especially given how the game had gone.It seems like that happens all the time. K likely told him to initiate early so they could get a shot at an offense board. I will never understand that. Make sure you get the LAST shot, no matter what. No excuse to lose in that situation. Should've been 2 OT at worst.
What was the streak up to?We deserved to lose that game...missing FTs, ungodly amount of turnovers and then not holding the ball to the last second to send it to 2nd OT at worst???
One of the most impressive streaks in all of sports, Duke's nonconference home winning streak at Cameron, is now over.
Duke last lost a game in Cameron to a non-conference team to St. Johns on February 26th, 2000.What was the streak up to?
Felt like a tournament game. Back and forth the entire 2nd half. It just seemed like it would come down to something like that.Holy Shit that was intense
Wish I had SFA on the moneyline. $1 prob paid $8,396,385. LaughingBiggest point spread upset in 15 years in cbb
Don't be ridiculous.I wonder are they going to yank Duke all the way down to #9 like they did to Kentucky when they lost to Evansville?
Wonder if Duke will drop to #9?
Uhhh no, in fact, they will probably move Duke up in the rankings.I wonder are they going to yank Duke all the way down to #9 like they did to Kentucky when they lost to Evansville?
AP voters about to confirm what a lot of ppl already suspect.Uhhh no, in fact, they will probably move Duke up in the rankings.
You might think this is not possible, but they'll find a way.

What was the streak up to?
The Champion's Classic teams started the year 1-2-3-4 and three of the 4 teams haven now lost to unranked teams before December. Don't think anyone saw that coming.

SFA has been a solid program for years.
Evansville has.....not.
How does that support the idea that they should fall as far as Kentucky did?
Who cares about spreads anyway.
We might have shot 40 free throws but we missed 16 of those free throws. We were 13-16 from the free throw line in the first half but we were only 11-24 from the free throw line in the second half and overtime.Duke shot 40 FT's to SFA's 17 and attempted 5 more 3's. Interesting
SFA shot 20% from 3.SFA might be terrible this year, I don’t know. I do know they’re a much, much better program than Evansville. And that spreads in early games like this are meaningless.
SFA at least shot well. And Duke shot 50% in the loss. Evansville wasn’t even hot that night.
Ok, but you still shot 23 more than your opponent who attempted 5 fewer 3'sWe might have shot 40 free throws but we missed 16 of those free throws. We were 13-16 from the free throw line in the first half but we were only 11-24 from the free throw line in the second half and overtime.
14-16 (7-11) in the mighty Southland Conference last year. Solid indeed.SFA has been a solid program for years.

We drive to the basket a lot and pass it inside to Carey a lot and teams that drive to the basket a lot and pass it inside a lot tend to draw a lot of foulsOk, but you still shot 23 more than your opponent who attempted 5 fewer 3's
SFA shot 20% from 3.

They were 48.6% from the field. And over 50% everywhere else on a much higher sample.
