To be fair to Coach K, how can he expect the students to know Capel played at Duke when they all just recently became fans of Duke.
Like your ears are big/sensitive enough to hear what he said? K can intentionally spit in your face and you'd swear it was an accident.
I saw a respected Coach giving advice to an opposing player. Of course, you see it different. Your coaches set up and allowed student athletes to waste their time at UNc by cheating

Not at all. I just don't view everything he does negatively like you folks who are ok with your student athletes cheating for over 20 years and that your coaches set it up.
Did you see Brooks ask for advice in the handshake line or did you see some 70 year old mental patient lecture a kid he doesn't even coach?

Yes, I think everyone outside of this afam guy realize K was just kind of being a sore loser with Brooks, especially considering what some of his players have done at the end of games they were winning. However, like wojo said, of course he thinks that highly of himself. Most of these elite coaches think that highly of themselves. Some just can control their impulses better than others.
He doesn't do it for every person he comes in contact with. Keep trying. He could always be like Cal during a game and constantly just yell HEEEEEYYYYYY like a crazy man.
Holler at me when Cal chastises an opposing player. And "hey" is along the same lines as "yo".
The people who it directly involved dealt with it. Makes sense to me. But as for everyone else...?

I feel like Duke fans don't really feel the same when a Roy or Cal are involved in something. It is always only much ado about nothing when K does something dumb.
I know that both Roy and K have gone into opposing locker rooms to congratulate the other team at times and it always kind of makes me cringe. It always seemed like kind of a pretentious move to me.

Can you share your relationship with the Baker family with us. Joey is a great player and giving Duke valuable minutes this year and contributing. Maybe he wants to leave after 4 years and decided not to redshirt. If you know different, please inform us. He was a freshman last year and you UNc fans were all so upset when he played and made fun of how he would transfer and sit on the bench his entire career.

He absolutely does. He has an image to uphold and this case, along with shouting at your own student section, goes against that image. He's more Bobby Knight than John Wooden.

I will not hold my breath waiting on your explanation of your relationship with Joey or his family, so you can explain how you seem to know how he or his family feel about Duke and K.

You miss the point. The media has portrayed him to be a modern day Wooden, a philosophical sort who teaches life lessons. He's a great coach but a lunatic.
