Can we talk a little bit about LSU?

Sounds like Will Wade is handling this poorly. I agree that this probably could've disappeared like at Arizona.
Everybody's cheating man. Gotta LMAO off at all these teams who think just because their names haven't been called that they are clean.
Highly doubt that this is going away and the NCAA is starting to really be concerned about putting a stop to it. Lots of teams out there going to start not getting the recruits they usually get then are going to start wondering why they aren't getting them like they used too. It's coming.
Where is your proof that everyone is cheating?
We know LSU, Zona, UL (a thousand scandals) and probably KU cheated. There was the UNC thing and the Kelvin Sampson phone calls issue. Who else? What proof do you have to make that statement?
There are 17 schools involved in the scandal and more on the way. Where is the proof that they aren't cheating is the real question ?
The FBI released a statement that there were many other schools involved in paying players and when asked who they responded with almost everyone.
Show me where I said nobody else was cheating? Reading comprehension is a tough thing to master. But when a 35-36 year old nobody shows up at a program that was bottom of the barrel and starts pulling in high profile recruits and winning at a high level, it doesnt take Sherlock Holmes to figure out what’s going on. The coach in unproven and the program isn’t a traditional power. Maybe “everybody” does it, but “everybody” hasn’t been caught. Will Wade was caught. And he’s a cheating bastard. Just like Louisville, Kansas, Arizona coaches.
The game vs Vanderbilt tonight sure got a helluva lot more interesting. I think a lot of people will be wondering how the team responds.

Seriously, you must not be a fan if you don't know the details of this by now. It's only been all over the CBB news for the last year and a half. USC, Arizona, DePaul, Lousiville, Auburn, LSU, Creighton...those are just the schools I can remember being involved off the top of my head. Lots more I'm sure.
Pretty much agree with everything you said. Never said Wade wasn't guilty just saying everyone else is doing it too just Smart enough to not get caught.If you really believe UK is getting all these 5 star recruits because they have an easy way to the NBA I just have to laugh really hard at you.

Again, I don’t know who’s cheating and neither do you. UK might be cheating. I have no clue. I know UK is a traditional power with a hall of fame coach, just like Duke, UNC, And I know those programs have historically gotten the best players. Now if you’ve got information that would implicate any of these schools in a pay for play scheme, then either the FBI or NCAA would love to hear from you.

Unfortunately we are right in the middle of the "overreaction stage" of the story. LSU already blinked by suspending the coach and now holding Smart out of the game. They need to stay strong, just tell everyone to F off about the whole thing and act as if nothing happened. Don't do anything stupid that is going to cost the team a chance in the tournament. This will all blow over in the end, don't mess it all up now by panicking.
What a great 2 years for LSU. They are fun to watch, and their fans are top notch. They can dismantle 6 teams come tourney time. They are definitely top team in the country.
Joe Aleva was told by the Chancellor to suspend Wade and hold Smart out. Guy has his head up his ass and has cost us many times. He's a drunk and I wish they would can him but they won't.

Suddenly, a month before he even visited LSU it’s reported by all mods on all sites that something drastic would have to happen for him not to end up at LSU. It was like one day he was open, and the next, not after a visit or anything, he wasn’t
Obviously the big prize in NJ was Reid, who conviently ended up at LSU as well

You should be worried too because UK is one of the schools listed in the scandal. You see right now is our time and when they start getting down to business it will be you guys turn. Be careful what you wish for.

It's funny how you posted that link snd not all the links that describe the players in question for each school. Nerlens Noel was long gone from UK, Kevin Knox paid for his own meal and Bam Adebayo was labeled as a "bad loan" because they were trying to get him to go to NC State.
You are not going to see Cal, K or Roy's names come up in this thing.
LSU had a good run this year, but it's going to be wiped from the record books. We tried to tell you guys this stuff was going to happen and you guys didn't believe us.
NCAA doesn't have a paper trail to link crap and the FBI is not interested in taking down LSU. They may get Wade but he isn't even charged with anything and is only a witness. Like I said I realize that you want LSU to be taken down but I highly doubt anything will become of it.
You will eventually just have to get that butthurt tail from between the legs and come to the reality that LSU kicked the crap out of everyone and won the SEC Championship and maybe lots more.
Btw this thing is far from over so you really don't know what the FBI has on UK or anyone else. Can promise they know way more that they are saying,.
If anything this scandal has shown us that we have no idea what the feds are doing. Every time there has been news it’s come out of nowhere with no leaks. I wouldn’t be so confident that some coaches/schools are safe. For all we know this thing could drag out for 5 years with every school/agent/shoe company being investigated without their knowledge.
Actually I've always like LSU and I was happy that they had emerged as another SEC program that could be a consistent threat to go deep in the NCAAT. They were going to make the SEC stronger, but it's over.
If you think Wade is going to coach at LSU ever again, you have your head completely buried in the sand.
I feel pretty good about Calipari and UK in this thing. I fully believe Cal and his assistants would never do this. Why would they?
If they did, they wouldn't be losing so many big-time prospects. Recruiting at UK has taken quite a dive the last 4 or 5 years.
They already saying he and Smart will likely be reinstated by Wed. If Wade doesn't Coach again oh well but you guys act like Wade did something and he is still not charged with anything and likely never will be. He hasn't done anything that any other Coach has done including UK. It's all the same whether you want to believe that or not
Eh, quite a dive would be going from #1 down to like #16 every year. Kentucky still gets a couple of 5 stars in every class.
I believe you that you feel confident. I’m just saying I wouldn’t if I were a fan and I definitely wouldn’t knock other schools being investigated. This whole situation could have a real what goes around comes around element to it.
I know Kentucky fans like to shoot this down but I remember the inside info about the Randle commitment said that Self was confident he would commit only to have an offer that he couldn’t beat come in the day before he announced. I realize that Randle was a heavy Kentucky lean all season long but since we know that KU has had agents involved in some shady business, to me that now means that he probably knew of an offer that had Randle willing to change his mind but that Kentucky likely came in to do what it took to retain him. I’ve had inside info on 2 recruits ever and in both cases the KU people really plugged into the program both said the same things I heard as a result of what happened. That doesn’t mean Kentucky will get in trouble, and it’s just anecdotal evidence, but to me that helps confirm my belief that we are all fans of dirty schools.
LSU got pissed because Wade didn't go to their meeting because Wades lawyer told him not to go. They overacted as usual and may have made it worse than it really is. So what is Wade guilty of ?
