I haven’t seen many rival fans in this thread make much of this. I mean it’s pretty obvious Payne used the info to help keep us away from this mess. It’s been obvious for a while that we had someone at least letting us know it was happening and who it was happening with. How else have we managed to avoid so many kids that were affected?
Of course I suppose the ncaa could get Payne for not saying anything. I’m sure there’s a rule in there somewhere.
Man...if we got in trouble for that? With all that’s went on? All the programs they have yet to punish for being directly involved...all I could do at that point is laugh. It would feel like the ncaa basically daring UK fans to stop watching and investing in the sport. Which they’ve already been doing for years by looking the other way for our rivals. Hasn’t mattered yet and probably still wouldn’t.

I agree but when others assume like your fan base does something like this is going to happen. Till the NCAA drops an NOA on you guys I wouldn’t sweat it.
Are you basing that off of not getting a top 5 player but instead getting the #10 and 11 players in the class? Or the #9, 12, and 13 players in ‘18?

Duke fans better hope like hell UK isn't cheating. No way you turn down Cal, UK, his NBA track record AND cash to go to Duke for free yet K been getting the better of him on the trail since 2015.

The crazy thing is that they actually believe that they have the only clean program. Completely ignoring that up until Cal went to Kentucky.....neither Kentucky, or Cal were ever able to pull in these types of classes year after year.

Not a U.K. fan at all but I sure can’t blame them. Everybody assumes that UK cheats. Duke is getting the same level recruits Zion allegedly got offered money. He didn’t go to Kentucky. Did Duke cheat to get him? UNC has bogus classes, Louisville brought in strippers, Kansas allegedly offered Zion money, look at Arizona. Hell cant blame U.K. one bit for pointing out the obvious when all this is happening.
