I don’t think Iowa is in anybody’s top 40.Crap. Iowa is around 25 to 30.
That’s actually a pretty good way of defining the entire state. Iowa isn’t in anybody’s top 40 of anything. Ever.

When is Iowa’s last outright conference championship in hoops?
The BIG would rape your team.
We played one B1G team on the road this year and won.
when did Iowa last win the conference outright?
I looked up pictures from Iowa on Google. Usually when you look something up the most well known results come in first. That means these are considered to be some of the top pictures of the state of Iowa.Glass Jaw, Jayhawk

We only play Arizona and UCLA. Why play anyone else unless it's a tourney setting?
It’s been over 40 years since Iowa has won the Big Ten. 40 years since your last final four. Trash program

Triggerd. Laughing
We are projected top 6 next year.
Had an elite 8 team this year.
Iowa likes to talk shit when the tournament gets cancelled. How convenient. Garbage program gonna garbage
St. John's still top 10 in winningest programs of all-time according to the link below. They were 4th or 5th back around 2000. The last 20 years have been rough.

I'll add in the NIT results from 1939-56 at some point. That will help St.John's tremendously. However, we're having a baby this week... and well, it might be a while.
Congrats dukedevilz. The best to the wife and child. Let us know how it goes. Sleep all you can this week.I'll add in the NIT results from 1939-56 at some point. That will help St.John's tremendously. However, we're having a baby this week... and well, it might be a while.
Your shit rankings suck dick.
7 Sweet 16's
4 Elite 8's
0 National Titles
6 Conference Championships
Yep, that's a top 25 program, provided the data was gathered in 1980.
Congrats Kentucky. It's now official. Remember to double-click on the screenshots to expand the images. Let me know what you think. This idea was presented to me by @hailtoyourvictor.
This whole thread stinks like piss.
Kansas St lolol. Loser
IL, you really are just that bad at numbers. Lol
You think that Iowa is better all-time than K-State?
Dartmouth has lost 2 title games, therefore Dartmouth is better than Iowa.Yes. We played for a NC.

Kentucky has more Elite Eights than Iowa does tournament appearances. CrazyLet's compare the numbers for Kansas State and Iowa.
NCAA Tournaments: 31-26, K-State leads
Sweet 16's: 17-8, K-State leads
Elite 8's: 13-4, K-State leads
Final 4's: 4-3, K-State leads
Title Games: 1-1, Tie
Conference Titles: 12-6, K-State leads
The numbers are not very close. No objective person would say that Iowa has accomplished more than Kansas State. So, either you're being obtuse, or you're just wildly lazy with how you examine actual data.

Interesting that Nova is in that group. The Elite Eight has definitely been our achilles heal. 17 out of 38 isn't a great percentage. It's absurd, really. If I'm looking at the numbers correctly, Kentucky has been to the Elite Eight 38 times. Only UCLA, UNC, Kansas, Duke, Indiana, Louisville, Villanova, and Syracuse have more NCAAT appearances than Kentucky has Elite Eight appearances.

I typically don’t associate Nova or Cuse that matter with those other seven but I guess thinking on it they have as much right to be in the conversation as Indiana or Louisvillewhy is it interesting that Villanova is in there. They have 39 appearances (including 1971*) across the 9 decades starting in 1939. Syracuse surprises me even though I think they are tied/close to Nova.
Just noticed Michigan is 1-7 in the championship game. That's rough. Didn't realize the Wolverines had made it there 7 times. 7-1 in the FF is impressive though.
E8 is UKs kryptonite.

Michigan 1 behind Sparty and the Nuts? I smell a rat.
