Jinxed em with this

27 and 13 I think right? That last steal was just good basketball.
@IUfanBorden as our resident zebra, how close would u say that last steal was from being a jump ball. Seems like almost anytime two players have both hands on the ball they call jump ball, but it was a quick, legit steal. Just surprised at home they didnt get a jump ball there but idk.

Ive always kind of liked the bucks just simply bc im a big time packers fan, and i like to hunt and just LOVE their mascot. Btw @JimboBBN, add buck deer to the list of animals that would destroy u in a cage match. Maybe a button buck ud have a chance, 8 pt or better ur ****ed snd the hooves gonna prolly get ya before the rack. Maybe not though i wouldnt even wanna imagine.

I didnt get a chance to watch, just caught the highlights.

Pretty close, BUT.....when you feel that one might have an advantage, you give a little. If Booker isn't off balanced, falling, you probably get a jump ball. But it seems the official(s) felt Holiday had an advantage, so they let it go. IMO, really good call. They were tied up for about 2 seconds it seemed---but again with Booker off balanced, falling---then boom, ball comes loose----seems like a good call.

Right on, i was just curious and suprised the suns didnt get it at home esp being booker their star.

I thought it was a good call as well. Thanks for the input. I dont mind refs lettin em play as long as it dont start getting obviously dangerous.

Not too many of us saw this coming when PHX was up 2-0, what has changed? I haven't had a chance to watch.
Giannis and Middelton playing their asses off with holiday knowing his role. Imo they are the better team on paper and have the best player on the court (Giannis)

Not a good position for PHX to be in. Milwaukee is a tough place to win, and they look locked in.

Yea phoenix really needed that last one at home.

Really to me its been the two clutch defensive plays that swung the series. The block bu giannis leads to runout, 4 pt swing from being tied to down four, and then holidays steal, no guarantee pho scores but lead to a layup on the other end.

The last couple have been super tight down the stretch. I dont dislike the suns, and def have been fans of their former teams much moreso than milwakee but I just cant root against the bucks logo. Makes me wanna get my cameras out lol

Anyone else watching TBT? Great game a few minutes ago between 1 seed Sideline Cancer and 16 seed Founding Fathers. FF had two chances to win it at the end, but came up short.

I saw the zebras cake walk the hometown shocker alumni team through. Dove on top of a dude like they were going for s football fumble and got a jump ball when two diff people fouled the guy with the ball, then they fouled the shit out of the guy who caught the next inbound and stole the ball for the layup and the win.

And since i know everyone gets a kick outta laughing at louisville, we had a former walk on try to put together a team of former alums and we didnt even make the 16 team cut.

They said we didnt have enough former stars signed up to play to include us in the 16 teams, but i dont see much star power on the ex patriot league team or any team tbh, theirs guys i remember but even witchitas most famous alum is prolly frankenkamp, whom while solid was hardly a star in college imo. Same for creightons team, not seeing the star power on any team in this smdh.

Plus i Just thibk its weak witchita state is getting home games, esp when the refs gift wrap them wins like that last one. They used to do it in a closed gym without even any bleachers.

It's 64 teams this year.

Also, I like the Elam Ending.

Elam Ending[edit]
In 2017, the tournament's play-in games utilized "Elam Ending" rules, devised by Ball State University professor Nick Elam. Pursuant to the Elam Ending, the game clock is turned off at the first whistle with up to four minutes remaining. The teams then play to a target score, with the shot clock still enforced. As the first team to meet or exceed the target score wins, there are no overtime games. Since the 2018 edition, the Elam Ending has been used in all games.[9] Originally, the target score was seven points more than team leading or tie score;[10] since 2019, the target score is eight points more than the leading team's/tied score.[6] The winning score can be a walk-off field goal, three-point shot, or free throw.

A rule change for the 2020 tournament was made in order to make a game-ending free throw slightly less likely. If the defensive team commits a non-shooting foul during the Elam Ending with the offensive team in the bonus, the offense receives one free throw plus possession. According to TBT organizers, this eliminated an incentive for teams to foul in one specific situation—when the defense could reach the target score with a free throw or two-point basket while the offense needed a three-pointer. The idea for this change came from a user that Elam interacted with on a message board.[7]

Through the 2019 tournament, Jeremy Pargo of Overseas Elite was the TBT leader in making game-winning shots during the Elam Ending, with five[11] (in the 2018 and 2019 tournaments, Overseas Elite won a total of 10 games). During TBT 2020, Golden Eagles forward Jamil Wilson tied his record.

Yea elam ending is def much more exciting than watching a free throw contest like the end of regular close games.

64 teams and we dont make the cut lmao thats even more depressing. Which hobestly dude might have jist given up trying to get s team together bc we only had chane wayne and samardo committed to play iirc. Would have loved to seen russ out there with those three and maybe siva or knowles. Would have been fun to reminisce but oh well.

What about CP3 pushing Giannis on the alley-oop? I think that's a flagrant 1 (it was called as shooting foul), but I'm pretty aggressive on pushing players in the air because it's inherently dangerous.

Happens a lot. Never see it called. I agree. Especially with a dude in the air.

I initially said Suns in 6 but I think Bucks may take it tonight but honestly it’s a toss up. I wouldn’t be opposed to seeing a 7 game series obv. After this basketball is over until November which is kind of depressing.
