2021 NBA playoffs discussion thread

it was fitting the way Pat Bev went out last night. What a freaking clown.
That was bullshit. They had already lost so he figured might as well. He better be held accountable for that. Should be a hefty fine and a suspension to start next season. With money on Phoenix I would've been royally pissed if CP3 got whiplash or some shit because of that.

Who else is cheering on CP3 to get his 1st ring?

Bucks impressed tonight, star player out betting theory is absolutely automatic for you NBA bettors who know what I'm talking about.

Also cheering for Monty Williams after these articles

Trae had a great playoff run but to go 4-17 in an elimination game against a team missing their best player. He’s still got a way to go. Other than that, he really impressed me this post season.

Giannis has to come back for the bucks to have a chance in the finals.

Dude, WTF? he was CLEARLY hurt last night and probably shouldn’t have played. Ridiculous to hold last night against him. If anything, give him credit for going out there and playing in clear pain.

He definitely has work to do as a 22 year old making his playoff/superstar status debut, but nothing in that game last night added to that list or timetable.

I thought Nate screwed up giving Trae the start last night. Game was at home with the same group that blew out Milwaukee in game 4 without Trae. Should’ve just started the game and saw how it went, held trae for the second half in case of emergency. Barkley was right, the rest of the team was thrown off their game early because everyone was looking to see if Trae was ok and not focusing on their own game or the team game.

Nate also screwed up not inserting Cam into the starting lineup in the second half. Should’ve had him in there on Middleton the whole way.

Nate didn’t make too many mistakes since March 1, but last night he did. But, as Chuck said bringing Trae back was a tricky situation so not the biggest indictment on Nate that he screwed it up.

Bro relax, I gave him props. As we’ve said throughout this entire series...injuries happen. However, his shot selection could improve, and that will come with time.

Phx is just relentless on the offensive end. However it was alleyoop block by Ayton and steal by Paul that really...probably sealed this.

I remember it! Richard Dumas was so good for PHX. But the Bulls were legends!
I was so spoiled growing up around MJ and the Bulls during my prime sports fan years (age 15-28). It got to the point that me and my friends had a usual riot route that we would walk through Chicago every year after they won it.

Ayton with 22 on just 10 shots. Dude has really grown up in these playoffs. Likely his progress is another aspect of CP3’s value that may not necessarily be apparent immediately or quantifiable. Wish I was watching my Sixers but I’m enjoying this Suns team.
I was super impressed with how mature ayton is the game they had him mic’d up. CP3 was out that game and he seemed like the “coach on the floor” so to speak being so vocal.
