2020-21 Pick 'Em, Final Scores!

Week 4 was kind of crazy. Seemed like we got a lot of fools goal earlier in the week. Last Monday, we saw Marquette take down Creighton. The next day, we saw Illinois crush Minnesota. So, Marquette and Illinois seemed like relatively safe picks. Betting against Minnesota seemed like a reasonable pick, too. And that's the beauty of the sport. The games often don't match our projections. Anarchy is always just around the corner. And this year is especially hard to predict when you're trying to gauge what, if any, advantage does the homecourt team hold?
Congrats to @duckboy33 and @ExitFlagger on beating the odds. 15 points for both in a challenging week of games. @Jaycg15 has now retaken control of the leaderboard... I've decided to continue the format for scoring where I drop the highest valued game, then the lowest valued game. So, with a 7-game week, and two cancelations, the 7-point and 1-point game were the first to be nixed. The scoring is then maxed at 20 points (6+5+4+3+2).

I had UNC winning. I didn't change it due to the switch b/c I still thought UNC will win. I guess I missed something. Oh well, no biggie.

A warning to anyone who has Oregon with high confidence points: Oregon will be down 2 starters vs. UCLA (Richardson and Dante). Dante is also out for the season. I'm contractually obliged to pick Oregon so I picked them anyways.
When do you think Richardson will return? I took him in the 6th round of our college basketball draft. Was bummed about the thumb injury. If he played from the start of the season, I think he would have been a lock for 1st Team All-Conference.

It wouldn't be all that surprising if Kentucky beats Louisville. Though, a value of 7 for that game is intriguing for a team that has struggled mightily. I applaud the bold move. Much more interesting than playing it safe.

Haha. I think UK is showing signs of improvement. I also wasn’t in love with any of the picks this week.
Congrats to @MGC_07 on winning Week 5. He scored 20 out of 21 points. Nobody picked Northwestern, but he only valued that game at 1 point. MGC vaults from 8th all the way to first, tied with Jay. The leaderboard is tightening up a bit. I like the 7 game format, as it appears one cancelation a week will be the norm.
