2019 - 2020 NBA regular season

Bahaha Jackie Mac was just on Dan Le Batard and Stu asked what specifically did Kyrie do and she said “I don’t know.” Boy, Great reporting
I’m not gonna pile on the guy if he really has a Mental health issue but you have to admit Kyrie comes off as quite the drama queen sometimes

I don’t think he or anyone else truly believes the earth is flat. Just no way
He seemed pretty convinced.

Whether or not Kyrie has a mental disorder or not, I don't think it is a big secret that Kyrie can be at the very least, aloof. Of course his new teammates are going to stick up for him right now. I do think it is interesting that these things are surfacing already with Brooklyn. Only time will tell if this stop is different for Kyrie.

Dude is straight up not right in the head. He even thinks he is an intellectual, which is laughable.

I’m not in his head, but she wrote the article and couldn’t give a specific example of what he did. She was like, “I think when he was in China, he didn’t want to take his hat off and when he played for Boston I think his grandfather died, which may have cause him to act strange.” I was like, those are your examples for this article? I certainly don’t agree with Kyrie with that flat earth shit, but this was a hit piece with no substance and she didn’t provide any in her own interview.

Besides @denniden it do seem a lot of former Celtics fans and writers are bitter about Kyrie leaving so I take their criticisms with a grain of salt.

You can take in any way you'd like, I get where your hesitation comes from. However, these criticisms and stories are not exclusive to the Celtic franchise.

Cam said I heard what you did to my bro, come and get some Tyler Zerro

Three former Duke players went for 20+ on the same team (Bayou Blue Devils)

Ingram looks ready to take the next step towards being a star. He has played great so far this year. Okafor has done really well to recover his career. Happy for the bug guy! Overall, I am definitely a New Orleans fan right after the Celtics.

Yep, they are my second favorite team behind the Lakers. Can’t wait to see what they look like with Zion back. They went undefeated in the preseason IIRC.

We all can't wait for Zion to be healthy. It's one thing to have ....nvm....to the point. Zion is fun as f8ck to watch. He's great for the game itself and not many can say that.

Shameless UK plug: same as Davis.

I’m not sure the Lakers will be a top two team in the west this season. They are really old, and will depend on LeBron to be the primary distributor all season. They don’t have the type of roster built to make a long run in May and June.

I would be willing to be the top three seeds in the west will be

Clippers
Nuggets
Jazz

Lakers will be around 4 or 5 with Houston.
Coming in late but didn't see Denver that high even when season started. I think top 4 are clips, LA, Houston and either SA or Utah.

I would as well, but I like fleecing others for their best stuff and getting rid of my garbage too. Even if it is a numbers thing, why make that deal for the return that it nets?
Remind me which team got a title out of Kyrie and has something to show for him.

I kid....I kid.

The guy was an all star in Utah. I disagree he was overrated, but his signing was the least of Bostons' worries. I mean the guy played 5 minutes and snapped his leg in his first game with Boston. Kind of hard to blame Boston for that signing. Unless you knew he was going to have a bone sticking out of his leg so soon into his Boston career.

Rozier and Horford were both on the team last year. Boston traded to get a much better player in Kemba Walker this past summer. Al Horford chose to walk away. Boston made multiple contract offers to get him to come back. Still, I am not sure what losing those two in the off season before this year and anything to do with the results of last season.

So you are basically admitting what I said about Kyrie was correct, right? The entire team was centered around him and his emotions. That is not a secret. It was also a big reason why the young guys like Tatum and Brown had to take a step back and not forward after having a great playoff run the year prior.
I thought they paid way too much for Heyward and would regret not spending where they needed to and help their rebounding/size. But I agree no way to know it would turn out like it did.

Also agree on your assessment of Horford and Rozier.

Yeah..he is well beyond the typical diva as you well know. And if this is surfacing so quickly maybe he's getting worse and not better.

Sad, really.

while he was still here and well before he asked to be traded, reporters said he would go weeks (yes, weeks) without talking to anyone during practices.

"way too high"? You thinking 11th or 12th?

With the Spurs.

Matters what happens with the Mavs and Pels.
I say the Spurs are easily the second best team in that division but they could end up #4 at some time.
How soon into the year.

As of right now I have them 5-8.

Both the Los Angeles teams, Houston and Utah are clearly better than them.
Maybe Denver and Portland.

So I have them at 4-5, you have them possibly at 5 and I have them "way too high"?

They are no where close to the Top 4.
Not saying they cannot because like always they are adjusting their roster.

Aldridge is a great player but he cannot win on his own and there is a good chance DeRozan gets moved.

This is why I say you are way too high on them.
Everything has to go correct and DeRozan stays for then to be a 4-5.
Just don't see.

Good chance they are #4 in their division by April.

Exciting first couple of weeks. Doncic is a beast.

This is a great year because countless franchises have to feel like they have a chance at it this year.

I still like the Clips. Cool to see Lakers off fast. West is just loaded.

Embiid is having a good time but now he's the target of all goons in the playoffs. He's gonna have to figure out how to balance the bear poking.
