Trump

Maybe it's Tesla/X healthcare.

I did like that Trump was honest in one interview about it a while back. They asked him why he didn't replace or stop the ACA when he was president and he said because they didn't have anything better to replace it with.

Impossible. Obamacare was worse than Chernobyl and and the Holocaust, I’m told.
That's funny. Perhaps she didn't campaign on that stuff. But she is for tax payer funded sex change surgeries for illegal immigrants and prison inmates. She strategically used speakers and platforms to emphasize on race and culture. Her running mate is known for tampons in middle school boys' bathrooms. There is no limit on abortion up to birth. Considered litigation for punishing parents who didn't provide their children with gender affirming care and was openly advertising that his state was a sanctuary for minors to have gender affirming surgeries. Not to mention where both of them stood on the 2020 riots. You know, the actual riots. The riots where there were $2 billion in damages and over 40 deaths.

So yeah, they didn't campaign on that shit, but we all knew where they stood on it.

You mean the riots that every Dem leader opposed publicly and forcefully (and also didn’t instigate)? Those riots? As for the transgender stuff, that was very much in the periphery. You’re right that it wasn’t a notable part of the campaign. It’s a niche issue.

No, she has never supported abortion up to birth. To my knowledge, nobody has. There might be a question of whether a law needs to be changed or created, but that’s not the same as promoting abortion up to birth. This is bogus.

The tampon thing is…. Idk, maybe weird? Who cares?

And like 7 taxpayer funded sex changes per year is also…. Who cares? You guys know these aren’t common, right?

Harris herself told people to go have their voices be heard. And so did many other democrats attempting to stir up unrest for optics. You're holding Trump responsible for the people he told to peacefully have their voices be heard that shamefully turned violent. But not the Maxine Waters of your party. Trump told his supporters to go home, don't be violent and respect the police. Then he was kicked off of Twitter. Trump wanted the national guard deployed to the capital, Pelosi said no. Why? You're a hypocrite who is either a liar, or dumb enough to believe the lies about January 6th.

I said her running mate had no limitations on abortion, even up till birth. That is a fact. It is rare, but that doesn't mean anything. It shouldn't be legal under any circumstance.

Tampon thing is weird. It's also supporting mental illness in children saying that boys can have periods even though they're not really boys.

I don't care if 1 single prison inmate has a tax payers funded sex change. That's one too many. The point was she may not have mentioned her desires while campaigning, but we know who she is and what she supports. You were trying to act like she wasn't looney toons just because she tried to hide her values because she knew it would hurt her chances with moderates and independents. You know, like and liar.

You guys are constantly fighting against making things illegal because they either don't ever happen according to you, or they rarely happen. If that was the case, than why not just make it a law.

You cannot compare riots from the BLM protests to the treasonous storming of the Capitol. Nancy Pelosi did not and could not block the deployment of National Guard troops, she didn’t have that authority. This is a debunked claim. Trump did discuss the need for National Guard troops prior to Jan 6th but failed to ever formally request them. He was the Commander-in-Chief, if he wants troops somewhere they’re there. This is not on the same playing field as supporting BLM protests. You’re being disingenuous.

You’re flat out wrong about the law Walz signed. Look it up. It does not allow doctors to kill or avoid providing life-saving care to a baby that is alive. I suspect you took this point from the VP debate and it is exactly why Vance didn’t want a fact checker.

Transgenderism is unlikely to be a mental illness. Never say never, but evidence so far does not point to it being a mental illness. As we all know, biological sex and gender are not synonymous.

Prisons are obligated by current law to provide prisoners with medical care. Courts have already ruled multiple times that prisoners seeking/in need of gender affirming care are entitled to it. Kamala basically said she won’t interfere with that. Take up your issue with somebody else.

In general, you don’t go making niche stuff illegal because a) it’s not worth the effort or b) laws can be twisted to have unintended consequences that do more harm than good. Doctors turning away dying mothers because they don’t want to risk going to prison for not saving an unviable fetus is an example. The states with those laws will say doctors can save the mom in those cases while completely ignoring the fact that the state is the one who put them in the position of either getting hit with a malpractice lawsuit for millions or going to prison if they’re wrong by the most minute margin.

Funny when you get butthurt about people twisting or taking Trump's words out of context but are quick to do it here. You seem to be educated on the sex change for inmates comments...so give us some background on the policy. How about some evidence?

TIA
She actually said it on video.

Did you not see the commercials.

You are exhausting. I don't know how your wife puts up with such a low T male.

The riots aren't being compared. You give the dems credit for speaking out against them, which they half assed did. And place no blame on them for inciting them. But you give Trump zero credit for immediately condemning the violence. Not telling them to stay there and be peaceful, but knowing that it was too late to be peaceful so he tells them to go home and you place the blame on him for inciting the violence even though he unquestionably told them to be peaceful. You're a hack man. That's all there is to it.

There are no restrictions in Minnesota for when or why to have an abortion. Show me in their law where there is.

Transgenderism is absolutely a mental illness.

I never said Harris made the law. I said she was for it. I don't care how rare it is

Some of the laws that you are against. Minors receiving gender affirming care. Late term abortions, and banning explicit material from schools. What are the unintended consequences to those laws?

For the record, I'm a huge supporter of legal immigration.

I'm ok with a Statue of Liberty at all of our borders.

I’ve always been a proponent of making legal immigration easier and cheaper.

Something about ‘give us thousands of dollars and wait 4 years while we don’t actually do anything with your information but we’ll look at it eventually, probably’ seems like it’s not the ideal way to do it.

As everyone should be. But we need to know who we are letting in our country and it should be on a merit based system.

I disagree that it should be merit based.

The qualifications should be: not a terrorist, not a violent criminal, able and willing to work, able to pass a simple English test (no need to be fluent, but you gotta know the basics). Then fast track citizenship and don’t make it expensive.

I'm ok without the language barrier. They're going to pick it up anyway. So many successful stories about migrants coming here with all their money fitting in their pockets and not speaking a lick of English.

Vet them and welcome them.

Leave it to you to literally agree, but say you disagree. What the fvck do you think merit means and how it doesn't apply to the things you listed?

You won’t lose it.

So what are you worried about.
The ebb and flow of any political election, where new ideas and legislation could be passed. This is with any candidate, and who the appoint to lead healthcare. People tend to worry about these things.

In 2012, only 3 border counties voted red. In 2016 only 5 border counties voted red. In 2020, only 6 border counties voted red. In 2024 only 7 border counties voted blue. The southern border, of course. Hispanic/Americans are some of the hardest working people in this country. They take illegal immigration just as serious as most common sense Americans. They are changing their political affiliation and that makes America great.

This is going to come out as whataboutism. Not trying for it to be. And Trump should have had a plan put together by now, good or bad. Just something to present to the people.

But what has improved over the past 4 years and what was Kamala going to do to improve it over the next 4 years?

It seems to me that it is something that has been largely ignored by both parties and presidents/candidate.

Probably won't happen, but it would be nice if RFK could have a productive role in helping the country focus on health. Which in the long term would positively impact healthcare. But I worry that there will be too many character clashes between he and Trump for that relationship to last very long. He may even just bail out now that Trump was elected and call it mission complete.
I’m kind of in the party that I don’t think RFK is going to have a large role in this legislation if it all.
