Thoughts?

I asked you to never use my family in order to try and prove your points and/or insult me. I think that's at least in the same realm of what you were asking Bert to stop doing in the future.

I mentioned my wife because it was a player on her rugby team. That doesn't make using my family to insult me fair game, at least not after the conclusion I thought we came to in the last thread.

You apologized and I'm good with that. I just don't see the need to reference my family again after apologizing. It makes me wonder if your apology was sincere.
But really, what is your wife's opinion on the question in the OP? Surely you've already discussed it with her.

She doesn’t think the person should have played women’s rugby, but just went with the flow because she didn’t want to upset anyone.

If he doesn't object to your mentioning her, he's a hypocrite once again.

People that I feel aren’t vile or diabolical can talk to me or ask about my family. I’m asking you not to mention them, though. Thanks again in advance.

In what way? Clearly my two unqualified, no-strings-attached apologies weren't good enough for you, so what's left other than explaining what you mean by "in that way"?

I accept your apologies. That doesn’t mean I’m okay with you talking about my family going forward.

First, you left out the particular way it was used. It's not as simple as never mentioning family, period, and you misrepresented that, creating a strawman.
Second, you brought your wife into this. The person you're pretending to be so confused by is/was her teammate. You've received explanations and are still pretending to be confused. I suggested you ask your wife. I suspect she doesn't have a problem w/ her teammate -- my explanation all along -- and that it follows that you can't handle that conversation, so you're taking out your frustrations here. Not at all the same as profaning my family, which bert did. (I notice you didn't quote what he said -- more evidence you lack any integrity or courage.)
Third, I apologized twice and it still wasn't good enough for you. When was the last time you apologized for anything? Did bert ever back off and honor my polite request?
I asked that if you love socialism move to a shit hole socialist country.

I had no reason to apologize.
