The insinuation that the only safety schools can provide children is surrounding them with guns is histrionics. In a post about the character of someone who would make fun of farmers or public educators, focusing on a single word is petty.
That's such hypocrisy. You made excuses for Roseanne's maybe not meaning anything racist by using one of the oldest, best known racist tropes to insult a black woman, but now a crude joke directed at the politically involved adult daughter of our President is "disgusting."
Not any and every thing, no, of course not. I'd consider some consistency and adjusted priorities progress, though. He'll spend an entire morning tweeting immature insults at someone who tells a joke about him, or call the most professional and esteemed journalists "fake news" if they're critical in any way, but he has to wait to see all the facts and hear both sides before condemning white supremacists.
I have no issue w/ his being silent on Roseanne... except he's silent there and won't shut up about more trivial things.
Are you doing anything to commemorate the 2 year anniversary this summer? Or is it a daily, ringing-of-the-sad-bells type thing?

President Obama's supporters were critical of his not commenting more frequently and more quickly about other incidents of that nature, but Milwaukee is the only one you care about.
I'll bring it up until we all agree Obama should have spoken out. I feel like that'll be awhile.

This would make for an interesting conspiracy theory. Is it because their funding for paid protesters ended? Who funded these folks? It was always assumed that Soros was funding them, but maybe it was a prepaid source from inside the previous administration .On a side note . . . anyone notice how the political rallies/violence of last summer have stopped? I do. Why don't you care about any other incident, or the incidents that ultimately led to any riots? For that matter, why is your only public show of concern for the Milwaukee riots in using references to them as a retort?
Even if I wanted to, I wouldn't give you the satisfaction b/c it's a stupid, selfish, childish thing to try to extort from people, particularly when you never hold up your end of the bargain.
