I know Adidas pays well, but be honest, wouldn't you prefer to be with Nike for a little less money?
No way. Personally I’ve been an adidas guy since I first heard “walk this way” by Run DMC as a kid. Hooked ever since. Can’t stand Nike, can’t remember the last Nike shoe I’ve ever owned. Had to have been before high school.

Combining two of my favorite things, KU and Adidas, is the coolest thing since the creation of frozen pizza. If the two ever part ways, I’ll be heartbroken.

Screw Nike.

Ps: I was only kidding, I love your whore mouth. SmokinSmile

I think KU constantly has the best Adidas uniforms.

I will bet you $200 right now that Indiana doesn’t finish in the top 4 next year.

Edit - unless you meant in the NCAA tournament. A 4 seed? Hmmm. I’ll bet you $50 they aren’t.
I'll push it to $500. Only thing, if Morgan doesn't return, bet is off. Guys like Phinisee, Anderson and Hunter are a lot better than what you think. Hunters a Top 50 guy, who will be an imapct player as a fresh. Phinisee is a true PG who's really going to fit Millers system. Anderson can flat out shoot the basketball. If not for Langford, one of those two(Phinisee/Anderson). win Mr. Basketball. Justin SMith is a star in the making. And of course, there's Langford. Probably the best scoring guard in this years class. Green showed flashes. Kid is very talented. If Miller can reign him in----and he seemed to as the year went on, he could be really good. THen there is Davis. If he's healthy, that's a huge positive.

Line-up of

Green/Phinisee
Langford
Smith
Morgan
Hunter/Davis

Is a really good core.

Plus, outside of MSU, UM ...maybe MD...Whi in your opinion is that much better? Purdue....PSU? OSU?

I will gladly take this bet. Very gladly.
We still good on this bet?

Sure.....If you give me a $50 credit for every injury IU has had. ANd thren another $1 for every game missed by a playuer projected to contribute. If so....then yeah....THink that means you end up owing me, though...SmokinSmile

Romeo should've went against his dad and picked up the phone call from Mack....just sayin'
Meh......Not really. Due to injuries, Romeo has no help. I mean he would have enefited just as much with IU, had Davis/Hunter not been out for significant time; Hunter the entire year. Aside from Morgan, dude has no help. I do agree through the circumstances, he would have been beter off. BUt I mean, I doubt many saw IU losing 7 guys to injury, missing I believe a total of 50 games.

That’s not how bets work.
Sure then .....A bet is a bet. Nevermind the fact Indiana has lost 7 guys for a total of 50 games to injury. Or that their Top 50 and second best recruit hasn't and won't, play a game. I mean if you feel that minus the injuries, that IU would still be 12-9, then sure. I guess I should have put a disclaimer saying that bet is void If IU loses 3/4 of their eam to injury.

Live and learn.

Would you ever tell this to a bookie or a casino when you lost a bet?

Bookie shows up at door. Borden says, injuries. Blah blah blah. Bookie injures Borden.
I’ve never seen somebody try to get out of a bet by crying about injuries. It’s amazing.

But we actually never agreed on the bet. I don’t think Borden knows that yet though. I’m just trying to get him in a gotcha moment and it worked.

Are you a bookie, or a casino? If not, why is that relevant. But sure, no biggie. You wanna win a bet like this----thats cool. When Selection Sunday gets here...I wll pay up.

Yeah, sure---ok. I mean----What? "Crying about injuries"? Dude, half the players I named have been injured...two haven't even played. Its not "crying". I mean TBH, I could have just said go **** yourself.....I mean---right?

Win a bet like how? If we really had agreed to a bet do you think it would be in poor taste for me to want you to pay on your loss because Indiana has injuries?

I feel like you’re taking Indiana’s loss tonight out on me.

I dunno...Maybe its me, and having a little honor. If you and I had bet that KU would e a FF team, and then they suffered the inuries IU has----Yeah, I'd forgive the bet. SImply b/c the team you were betting on, isn't that team now...Nor has been that team since the injuries. Now---would I expect a casion or a bookie to feel that way? Of course not. But then again, I don't deal with bookies/casino's.

People are different. If the bet was lefit, and you wanted it paid---I would do so. Like I said, I do have some honor. And so---I would hnor the bet..

Each to their own.

Nope. IU's loss has zero affect on me...Therefore, none on you. I just tell things as they are. If that seems mean, wrong, etc, etc...My apologies.

I understand where you’re coming from. But I wouldn’t ever expect anybody to let me out of the bet because of unforeseen circumstances. Injuries are just part of the risk of making any sports bet.

Where did I say I expected it? I said I would do it....Didn't say I expected you to.. From now on, when making such a bet, I'll make sure to add a disclaimer for injuries.

You're seriously going to end up getting 50 bucks by just saying you had a bet. Shit...why didn't I think of this first!

Wth. Seriously, your injury excuses are getting tired. Who has started the season but is injured and not playing now.?
LOL...You don't understand sports very well, do you. But hey, since you asked---Lets get technical.....Ummm, everyone. EZVeryone started the season healthy; sans Davis. I mean no one started injured. So, I mean, when making a suggestion on what your team may or may not be, you do it on who you think will play. Sooo.....When doing so in August....then in Sept....then in October....The guys who are now injured, or have been injured---were, well, healthy. So I made my prediciton on those guys not being injured. Sure you have to take such in to account....But I mean, how often does a team lose 7 guys to injury?

I mean, I doubt you have ever thought injuries hurt your team......Right?

Nope. I ouwld have went back and read to see if he had indeed accpeted....Which he did not.

I will bet you that Indiana lets you down again next season.
Sure.....Eventually things work out. I'll take my chances with who we have coming back, and coming in. Lets wait and see where Brooks goes. And Watford. IU lands Vrooks, along with TJD, and return guys expected.....We can bet. Guess we can revisit this next August.

Or we could bet KU gets a really high seed.....and then loses in the 2nd round to some directional school?

Just read Archie's press conference transcript....they currently are short 6 scholarship players for practice right now and ita been similar the whole year.

When you make a bet (irrelevant here) you accept all variables. If I bet the Cowboys would beat the Redskins before the game, because that's when bets are made, and they lost by 3 points after throwing five interceptions, I wouldn't be able to say that I would have won the bet had they not thrown 5 interceptions. What ifs have no place in bets.
