Tech showing why they are the real deal. OSU exploded on the Tech to start the 2nd half but TTU kept their composure and it's just a few possession game now.
OSU looked like they did against us. Except they didn’t let up when they played us. They kept the hot shooting throughout. The Pokes are a very streaky team. Lucky for us, they hit one of those streaks tonight.
Tech blew it. Could've had a huge matchup this weekend. Still big but wish tech would have taken care of business
OSU finally slowed themselves down which you rarely see them do. Then the Pokes hit a few more huge shots to get the lead back to double digits. TTU spend a lot of time & expended a lot of energy just to cut the lead to 4. OSU had to earn that win. OSU did a good job showing better poise late in the game.
OSU is bi-polar.

On another note............Bell Self is definitely the best coach in the Big 12.......no denying it. His coaching job this year is beyond reproach........even with the 35-2 travesty.

Still huge. Because if they beat us but both teams win out, we'll tie for 1st, but they'll hold two wins over us. I wouldn't want to claim a title that way.
He's a good coach, because he just doesn't have true down years. He always works with the parts he has and by the end of the season, has them performing at or near the top of their ability.
But he does at times let the pressure of the tourney get to him. He coaches tight, especially in the Elite Eight. He should probably have about 4 Final Fours by now, but this has cost him. Even the year we won the national title, we had to rely on Davidson missing a last second 3 in order to advance past the Elite Eight.
I think if the Big 12 were to hand out a Most Athletic Team in the Conference award, the Pokes would take the cake hands down. Tech might be hot on their heels in terms of freak athletic ability.
