Place to put my Nonsense Thread.

Is that all you think ultrasound does?

I’m sure you do all kinds of cool stuff. You make sure they’re moving correctly, all the organs are there and working. All that jazz.

Since I’m staring at an article where 1,500 scholars, including a Nobel Laureate disagree with your opinion of what coordinated brain activity is or when it starts, I’m going to go out on a limb and say you’re not trained in neuroscience.

Feel free to prove me wrong and we can continue this charade where you pretend not to know what was meant by ‘coordinated brain activity’. It’s the way you are. I won’t fault you for it.

Do you deny that the brain coordinating the movement of the baby is coordinated brain activity?

Or are you denying it happens before 24 weeks?

I’m saying coordinated brain activity very clearly implies consciousness. It is necessitated. Furthermore, it was abundantly clear from my post and prior discussions on this topic that you participated in with me that you knew exactly what I was saying. You were playing dumb.

Balling up a fist does not qualify, just like kicking a leg, or bending an arm doesn’t qualify. Not by themselves. Intent is necessitated. Awareness is necessitated. Coordination is necessitated.

I can only assume you are coming from the angle of checking if the brain is communicating correctly. You check the box on the computer that fetal movement looks normal, or something to that effect (affect?). That’s great. That’s just not related to coordinated brain activity (necessitating consciousness). But you were aware of that.

We are talking about two different things. The fetus has a functioning brain with coordinated movement/activity (2nd trimester) before the baby has consciousness (3rd trimester).

I’ll cater to you and ghosts liking moreso. Give me a minute. You keep being you though, because it’s totally normal.

Zero chance he is like this in the real world. He’d get punched so many times (no, I’m not saying I would or would want to punch you, hail. I pity you.)

I’ve puked my guts out in the parking lot and had girlfriends pass out on the floor there. There is something wild about that bar.
It’s that old rowdy I don’t give a **** bar. That type of behavior is mandatory. My good buddy plays blues guitar for a well known local band. He’s playing at Stevie Rays in a couple weeks, the last time we spoke on the phone. I said I may drive down for a weekend. I’m only about 4 and half hours away now, which is rad.
