Place to put my Nonsense Thread.

Biden isn't the first person to do this. He is the first person to admit beforehand that he was going to do this. There probably has never been a President that has solely just tried to pick the most qualified candidate out there. That isn't even reasonable.
We have proof with biden. The others are pure speculation.

Right, but there also hasn't been a President that has just picked someone solely because that person either had a dick or a snatch. Or at least wasn't stupid enough to admit as much.

I have a very hard time believing any owner will do something other than find a way to win games at all costs. Can't fathom they would care about skin color if a person is a winner.
You know who makes it about skin color? Black people and specifically black people that think they aren't getting hired simply because they are black.

Or the color.... racist. 😆

Haha nice. Yeah, I dunno how I was thinking he was black. Was just looking at a list of the current GMs. Mike Brown, LeBron's former coach was black. Maybe that passed through my mind. Either way, I dropped the ball on that one lol.

I needed these today.

I'm going to get my wife to file a class action lawsuit against the NFL. Women are not fairly represented in management positions.

Yeah, the NFL seems to care too much about winning and money to care about anything else. You would have to be super racist to not pick a guy because he is black. My guess is the argument is owners tend to simply favor white candidates rather than that though. I don't know. I thought it was super dumb that Flores was fired but thought it was more because he disagreed with the owner about direction or something.

Who has (admittedly) said this?

Reagan. But again, it shouldn't even matter. No one has ever picked based solely on who is the most qualified ever. There have always been qualifiers. It is extremely silly to even try and argue otherwise. This argument is so absurd it has me defending someone I can't stand.

What really throws you off is when a white dude has a traditionally black name. You hear the name Tyrone, for instance, there is a 100% chance you are assuming it's a black dude.

Reagan admittedly said he chose Bush as a running mate because he was a man? Don't recall that, then again I was 2 years old when he was elected.

Sorry. I thought we were talking about Supreme Court Justices.

Agreed. We can't see into the minds of every NFL owner/GM. They all have different reasoning for making the hires they make and it's all subjective. Besides, they own the freakin' team and it's their bottom line at stake...we are talking about some teams that are worth billions of dollars. This is not a public entity (Packers excluded).
