Place to put my Nonsense Thread.

I was getting gas earlier for a delivery and had to go in to pay for it. I couldn't believe how many different mask this gas station had in it. I always pay at the pump using works card, but holy hell there had to be 50-100 different styles/colors/etc.

Bet they have pretty good profit margins on masks. The cost of materials is going to be very minimal. And then go and sell a designed mask for $15-20. The margins are probably worth the effort. But, 50-100 different styles/colors?! That's bananas.

Now that you mention it. It's a family ran business and I wouldn't be surprised if his wife made a lot of them.

The people you are describing are not what a most of the people have issues with. People are born with the scenario you describe. It isn't a lot of people, but it does happen. Typically the parents chose the path of the child. Then when the person gets older they can figure out what to do.

There are far more people who for some reason decide they were born the wrong gender so they do what they can to change that. Either by taking medicine, mutilating genitals, or just swapping clothes. Its obviously a mental thing, as they are born body wise the other gender. The question is how do we handle that as a society. Of course they can control what they do with their own lives, but when it impacts others what should be done?

Letting a former grown man use the bathroom with female kids just seems a little weird. Letting a dude who thinks he's a female use the mends bathroom? Still a little weird. Create transgender bathrooms? Seems weird and never gonna happen for the majority of places. Letting a former guy compete/fight females in sports is also weird. So who knows that do to.

My one hard stop is giving kids hormones one way or another to change them. Just because a kid plays with barbies or wants to wear a dress doesn't mean you should inject them with medicine to alter them.
So these people most don’t have a problem with, which bathrooms do they use? Do we have a set criteria so at least they don’t walk in the wrong one?

I could care less about women’s sports. That’s up to the governing body of the sport or for combat sports the person signing the contract.

I too am against hormone treatment, at least until they are 18 and decide what they want to do with their own body.

Nobody in the history of the world has reproductive capabilities of both genders. You can't father a child - and subsequently get pregnant a year later.
Most of these people can’t reproduce at all. So I’m not really sure that matters

I’m not going to invent a sex Bc of a statistical outlier. The parents and doctors would be responsible for making the best decision for the kid on how to proceed with surgery.
I’m asking you which bathroom they should use at age 6-10.

Most kids don’t have that type of surgery until they are older (if they didn’t have a doctor do it at birth)

Just boarded a plane to Eleuthera. Trading 2 degrees for 80……hopefully.
Nice. Were doing a 14 day southern Caribbean cruise. Kind of a last minute type trip. Too many rules for a lot of the resort destinations we were looking at. Covid testing every day and shit like that.

Do you spend this much brainpower and effort in defending the Autistic, the disabled? Seems weird to me the effort you spend in this. Something you want to tell us??

When I was in school I was in a program that partnered up to help out kids with autism. So I guess I did use effort.

You still haven’t answered my questions. But I should’ve expected this given your original stance on the issue. You and nuanced takes don’t go together

Dont remember the question and really dont care. It is not an issue that troubles me or concerns me. But your attention to it does make me laugh.

.01 or .001 of the population sure does concern you.
