Joe Biden is old, doesn’t speak well in public, and has memory issues. You know who also checked those boxes? Trump. At worst/best, they’re both embarrassing in that regard.
Gas prices fluctuating up and down a few dimes has no relevance to anything. Gas prices are high because demand surged as a result of the pandemic winding down and people traveling. Anything that happened with gas prices pre-pandemic is irrelevant. During the peak of the pandemic demand was obviously low and prices were low.
Cancelling the Keystone XL pipeline project cost jobs. Environmental policy will likely cost jobs in coal. Those same policies will likely increase jobs related to alternative energy. That’s how that works. Back to the point we were discussing, there’s nothing embarrassing about that.
Pulling funding and troops out of joint efforts for peace threatens national and global security. Full stop. Allies were paying their fair share, but we had an administration that was hell bent on tearing up existing agreements without any plan for negotiations to improve or replace them instead of just putting them in the garbage. Additionally, providing/aiding in protection is a powerful diplomatic tool. An administration that understands that understands that we receive benefits that exceed the money we pay.
