Place to put my Nonsense Thread.

Trump def is in need of some self reflection---but i'm guessing he had a hard time seeing his own actions when faced against village idiots like schumer, pelosi, and AOC. They would point out how idiotic DJT sounded and then would one up him.
Now we have Biden, who can't even piece together a coherent sentence. 😆

He did seem to go out of his way to be embarrassing, though. Where a normal person would stop and think about how dumb they look, he willfully soldiered on.
Yeah, I know. Those gas prices at 1.75/gallon were so embarrassing. And all that Pro America stuff all over the world and protecting this country from enemies and making allies pay their fair share. Yep, so embarrassing.

Oh god, not you again.

This seems like a big deal. They'll have to go farther north or East eventually won't they?

Yes, you are wrong. Almost always
Tell me what is wrong in the below statement. Specifics.

Is that the dam California intentionally kept releasing more water than it should almost guaranteeing dangerous/scarce levels so they could save fish?

- Gas prices don’t have anything to do with being embarrassing. The rise in gas prices began at the end of Trump’s term and they’ve spiked as a result of market factors (supply and demand) as countries navigated out of the pandemic. Gas price jumps have not resulted from any policy decisions.

- He likes to thump his chest about putting America first yet ripped up trade deals that benefitted Americans without replacing them with trade deals that benefit Americans. That’s embarrassing.

- What enemies did he protect us from? Who was attacking us?

- He weakened global security in the name of making allies ‘pay their fair share’ which opens them up to threats from other countries and ultimately threatens American security, in turn. It’s embarrassing that Trump never understood this.

You have to admit, he had the best twitter page of all Presidents.

And you see nothing embarrassing about Biden and his dementia and his forgetfulness and his rambling non coherent rants during speeches?

Gas prices. Always an excuse from the left. Can you tell me why Gas prices have stayed constant and not fluctuated since Biden has been in office. During Trumps term the prices fluctuated 10-20 cents a day sometimes. My local station has been at 2.89 for 6 months and now 2.99.

Like the Keystone pipeline. How many jobs did Joe eliminate on that day? What global security has been weakened? Why should the US foot the bill for all the allies.

How is our security threatened. Specifics.

Let's check the playbook.

All that had to do with that pipeline
Pissing them off by taking away.
To help strengthen relations.
Creating enemies who find trade elsewhere.

First of all, I don’t answer to you, so I’m not going to do this thing where I have to go further and further down the rabbit hole explaining things to you that you struggle to understand. We can go back and forth, but don’t start asking me question after question.

Joe Biden is old, doesn’t speak well in public, and has memory issues. You know who also checked those boxes? Trump. At worst/best, they’re both embarrassing in that regard.

Gas prices fluctuating up and down a few dimes has no relevance to anything. Gas prices are high because demand surged as a result of the pandemic winding down and people traveling. Anything that happened with gas prices pre-pandemic is irrelevant. During the peak of the pandemic demand was obviously low and prices were low.

Cancelling the Keystone XL pipeline project cost jobs. Environmental policy will likely cost jobs in coal. Those same policies will likely increase jobs related to alternative energy. That’s how that works. Back to the point we were discussing, there’s nothing embarrassing about that.

Pulling funding and troops out of joint efforts for peace threatens national and global security. Full stop. Allies were paying their fair share, but we had an administration that was hell bent on tearing up existing agreements without any plan for negotiations to improve or replace them instead of just putting them in the garbage. Additionally, providing/aiding in protection is a powerful diplomatic tool. An administration that understands that understands that we receive benefits that exceed the money we pay.

Wrong on so many topics.
