I went cow branding for the only time in my life just outside Enterprise (top right) on a friends farm while in grad school. Had a really interesting conversation with his farmer dad who talked about the difficulty of dealing with always changing environmental laws from Salem, esp water and wolf changing regulations from the west side of the state - who essentially dictate everything for farmers which are all on the east side. Can see Oregon and the eastern side of WA wanting to join Idaho. Culturally they’re much more similar. Here’s a pic I took with the Wallowa Mtns in the backgroundI missed this was happening. 70%? As you get older, for some of us the memory gets worse, but please let me know and give me shit. 👊 Guys at work do and I love it, working a swing shift makes your memory worse, that's a fact. I have to stop and think what day of the week it is sometimes.
