I think Pittsburgh fans would take him back. Haven’t even made the tournament/won more than 16 games in a season since he’s left.

Stallings and Capel are ass cheeks. Two trips to the Sweet 16 and one to the Elite 8 in 13 seasons doesn’t impress me.

I don’t care

Odd take, but you do you.

Howland took Pittsburgh to the Sweet 16 back to back years before Dixon took over. Dixon’s final two years were missed tournament and 1st round loss as a 10 seed. A bunch of mediocre tournament results in between. Not impressed.

And Dixon took them to the sweet 16 his first year after Howland. Pitt has a very mediocre history and they’ve been absolute trash since Dixon left. Pitt isn’t an easy job, you’re making it sound like he inherited some blue blood program.

Getting mediocre tournament results should be considered a success there. It may not even be top 10 “desired” job in the acc for Christ sake.

I’m sure he loses sleep at night knowing that You don’t approve.

If it impresses you, more power to you.

Dixon took over a better program than he left.

28 and 29 win seasons with back to back sweet 16s before Dixon is hired.

Missed tournament and first round loss as a 10 seed his final two seasons there.

You’re looking at it wrong but that’s okay. It’d be almost like saying Chris Holtmann wasn’t impressive at Butler because he didn’t do what Stevens did.

or if Juwan doesn’t make a couple of national championship games at a much sexier brand place like UM, you gonna be saying the same thing?

Those aren’t very good analogies. If Howard struggles in March like Dixon did I’ll be very disappointed.

Comparing postseason success between the schools is not comparing apples to apples. That’s the whole point.

Did not think coming into today I’d be defending Jamie Dixon, but here I am.

It is what it is. At the end of the day making it past the round of 32 three times in thirteen seasons does not impress me.

Saw that jalen washington has been out again with knee issues, that kid has no business being ranked where he is. Midwest seems super down in 2022.

Yep. I think everyone else should stop recruiting him. Purdue will roll the dice they can keep him healthy.

He's on an official to Purdue today.

Would like it to be Duke for Michigan. We’ve played UNC a handful of times. Being the best team in the conference over the past decade should get us one of those two and I’d rather it be Duke.
