Painter has to fill out his huge white guy quota. Hell go anywhere needed to do so.
I'm not saying the final 4 is the bar but the talking by Purdue fans makes it an easy target if they struggle at any point during the season. What are Purdue's expectations for the regular season and tournament?
You’re more than entitled to your opinion then. I don’t know if I’d agree with the portrayal of the fan base that we would kill to just make the tournament, but if that’s the way you see it, it is what it is.
You’ll do that either way. Which I’m fine with - you (and a couple of the other Iu guys here) are actually a normal dude that’s just doing normal trolling.
Expectations: In the hunt for the B1G title and then a 2/3 seed in the NCAA tourney.

I don’t really get what you’re arguing? Is the ncaa tourney not a pretty good goal for Woodson? Would IU fans really be disappointed with a tourney appearance after what you guys have been through?
Just the semantics of the statement. I’m probably reading into it too much. I read it as they’re a long shot to make the tournament. The expectations are obviously lower than Purdue’s, but I wouldn’t say I’d kill to get into the tourney. I don’t look at this upcoming season with desperation. They were a perpetual bubble team under Archie and he was a horrid coach.
Their roster is good enough to make the tourney. I don’t expect Woodson to be a great or even good in game coach by any means, but if he can get them to play with any semblance of a pulse on offense, I expect them to make the tournament relatively comfortably. I don’t think it should be difficult for big ten teams to make the tourney, you can usually fall into some quad one wins just by the sheer number you’ll play in conference.

We aren’t the ones putting Furst on the pedestal saying he’s more deserving than players that didn’t make it.
The only thing any of us know is that he made it. I wasn’t at the trials watching, so I’ll go ahead and just trust that Coach Dixon wants to have the best chance of winning gold.
Yes, go ahead and trust that Furst is more deserving of being on a U19 national team than a bunch of players that weren't invited and guys like Kendall Brown that were cut. You're entitled to that.

Coach Dixon also willingly chose to coach at TCU so, at the very least, I think we need to be skeptical of his decision making.

We've fired every coach during that timeframe. It's interesting seeing other programs expectations.
