No Purdue will stay in the top 5 frequently. Who are you losing after this year? Kofi, Curbelo, Frazier, Williams, Plummer… anyone else? Who are you currently bringing in? Two 75+ guys?

After getting another opinion, Washington learned that his initial ACL surgery wasn't performed properly. He played an entire high school season, an entire AAU season, and participated in the NBPA camp with an injury he thought had been fixed a long time ago.

It sucks. Him and another highly rated football recruit we landed are doing the same thing. It’s bad for their football development IMO and they likely aren’t serious Big Ten level players in basketball anyways.
Right. He's not quick enough to be a WR without some serious focus on his craft, which the bball stuff is going to take away from.
Would really be interested to see what he could do if he focused full time on becoming a tight end. I believe that's what the Georgia's of the world offered him as.
He’s a TE for us. Hopefully after the football season he decides to put full focus on it.
I'm not sure he's qualified to discuss basketball but it doesn't stop him from doing it anyway.

95%. Then Kofi found out there was 0% chance he would be drafted, and UK didn’t want him, so he came back to Illinois. He had clearly checked out after the season, so there is little chance he spends another year there after this year.
Then again, Underwood hasn’t shown he is a good developer of talent, so maybe Kofi will be back.
Ignoring that I have other sources of information from those, what information do you have that anyone other than those 3 would leave?
Makes you forget about the recent draft picks and success on the court in Bloomington. I mean their AD totally didn’t settle for who they hired for HC, Woodson was obviously the top target.
When was the last successful season in Bloomington?

We have been to the Sweet 16 and won the Big Ten more recently than Illinois. Not even close. 2016 was the last time both of those things occurred for IU. 2005 was the last time they occurred for Illinois.
