The only things worse than Purdue and IU fans shitposting each other about basketball is IU and Purdue fans shitposting each other about football.

We are both fvcking irrelevant So move on.
Let me know if I need to add anything! (I had a feeling I’d wake up to you not approving of the shitposting)

So I guess he is one of the best defensive linemen in the league if you're scared he'll go in the first round. Noted.
I never said he wasn’t? His production hasn’t been there since he was a freshman, but still one of the best in the Big Ten.

Actually, I’ll take your ban bet on him not being a 1st rounder.

Of all the things to make fun of Purdue football for, George Karlaftis would probably be last on the list lol.

By the way, got some weird bets for easy money this weekend. Iowa -3 and Michigan +2.5 among them.

I’ll never root for UM, but I’ve got great seats to the MSU-UM game and it would be pretty cool for both teams to enter undefeated. We would more than likely get college game day.

I think UM comes in undefeated, although Nebraska could be problematic. Still think UM will win. But I feel like MSU goes 1-1 at Rutgers and at Indiana. Rutgers needs a turnaround win and it’s homecoming for them, and Indiana is coming off of a bye week to play us.

I haven’t watched a lot of Michigan, but when I have, the offense looks to be a little more modern and a little less Harbaugh at Stanford.

The offensive is better but there is a split take on the home board. We have a game manager QB who has a weak arm and is late on throws starting. He doesn’t “make mistakes”. We have a 5* freshman gun slinger with better mobility who has looked legit. Some are happy with the game manager some think we’d need the big arm to have a chance against Ohio State and that he should get more reps before then.

MSU is only a 4 point favorite at Rutgers. Seems like a good bet to make, what am I missing?

Probably not missing anything but Rutgers has held everyone’s offense not named Ohio State in check. But Temple, Syracuse, & Delaware all suck. They did play UM tough though. They’ve done a really nice job of keeping the opponent’s ground game in check (2.9 ypc for UM in that game for example) & that’s kind of MSU’s bread & butter.

but I’d probably take MSU up to a TD having said that.

Yeah, he hasn’t done enough to warrant best coach. Coach you’d want to start a program? Maybe.

He also called Michigan the best team in the Big Ten the past two years which isn’t true by any stretch of the imagination.
His imagination doesn’t have to be based in reality.

He’s said it enough times in the mirror that he believes it himself.

There’s just not a legitimate argument for Howard over Few or Drew right now, and there are a few others that I’d argue for as well.

I’d like to see him coach more teams too. His first season was pretty average. He did well last year, obviously.

Imo best coach would have to include overall resume which Juwan certainly doesn’t crack. Best coach going forward is a bit different. I think Juwan has a case to be around 5-10 in best coach going forward but not 1. Big Ten he has a case for 1 but so do a couple other coaches.

Only one player received more preseason B1G POY votes than Jaden Ivey in tomorrow’s B1G media pre-season accolades. Who do we think got more? I’m going Kofi.

The only schools who can 'compete' with Michigan in the claim for 'best Big Ten the last two years' are Illinois, Iowa and OSU.

OSU was looking at a 5 seed in the 2020 NCAA and maybe they go to the S16. Michigan as a 6 seed maybe goes to the S16. Iowa as a 6 and Illinois as a 7 had no shot at S16 based on the lack of coaching ability in the tournament. Meanwhile MSU and Maryland were good in 2020 but average in 2021.

Rankings over the last two years...

Michigan
Ohio State
Illinois
Iowa
MSU/Maryland
Wisconsin
Rutgers/Purdue

So does that just mean everyone voted for Kofi except Brian?

Really depends on the criteria. Michigan was 16th and 3rd in Kenpom while Ohio State was 8th and 11th. Which is better? Does the tiebreaker go to the team who was better in conference or the team who made an Elite 8?
