Illinois with Underwood will have the same upside as Michigan. Both had 1 seeds, which means both can contend for titles.
The 2020/21 Illinois team is probably the most talented team Underwood will ever have there. That was your upside.
I know one thing is for sure, you’ll be here telling us that regardless of what happens.
I mean that’s how the future works man. Nothing is set in stone.
Illinois has more talent in 2022 and 2023 than Indiana. And we have no instate competition to share with. Much more likely we recruit better due to those factors.
