*Official* B1G Off-season Thread

I’m cool with that.,What I said was mic drop. That’s silly on its face. What followed was a bunch of babble from the usual suspects. What’s silly is twenty posts about which is more stupid/ betting on baseball or football? Think I’ll check out- place is no fun anymore.

Are you really checking out?

Or is this like how you put me on ignore but still reply to my posts?

Speaking betting..... these were my preseason baseball bets:

Boston Red Sox WS Champs 10:1
Washington Nationals WS Champs 9:1
New York Yankees Under 94.5 wins
Khris Davis MLB HR leader 40:1
Kyle Schwarber MLB HR leader 40:1

That Khris Davis bet is sweet. He probably locked it up today.

Michigan and OSU guys, what do you know about Zeb Jackson? Saw that we were interested in him.

Also, MSU fans...do you agree with Dauster that Ward and Tillman will start together? I'm just not seeing that.

B10 looks down, yet again. MSU and Michigan both look vulnerable this season.

It very well could end up that way, but I feel like a team or two will emerge. I think Wisconsin will surprise some people based on these preseason rankings. Nebraska too.

Depends on how much they've worked on their games. Tillman looks completely different from last season, lost a lot of his "baby fat" and looks much stronger. Videos from Moneyball (yes... take with grain of salt) show him hitting jumpers and 3's with ease.

If he can guard the opposing 4 out to the perimeter and hit some shots outside of the paint, then yes, I think he and Ward can be on the court at the same time.

Yeah, Wiscy looks decent this year. Should help that they'll be healthy.

From what I’ve heard, they will start together. I think Defensively it will be fine, but we shall see on offense.

Tillman is absolutely jacked and they say that he’s too good not to start. Hopefully he can hit some mid range stuff (or even 3 as he showed in money ball, but that doesn’t mean a lot) just so we don’t have 2 bruisers.

Surprise as in top 4 for either of those teams?

I think either one could be in there for sure. Personally not a believer in MSU in the early rankings.

I do feel confident the top 4 will involve these 7 teams though. Pretty decent drop off after those 7 in my opinion.

Indiana
Maryland
Michigan
Michigan State
Nebraska
Purdue
Wisconsin

Thanks, John. Let's see you post something intelligent to disprove it. I'll even settle for not stupid.
Wtf does this post even mean? Has "on the spectrum" written all over it. Do your parents know that you're talking to strangers on the internet?

Here's an average of the rankings from UM Hoops website. Honestly doesn't look too bad.

Looks pretty reasonable overall. I'm not surprised T-Rank is such an outlier for Purdue given the quantitative nature of those rankings and how much Purdue is losing.

Street & Smith's having Minnesota at 4 is....um....interesting.

Over/UNDER that illinois wins 5 conference games? I'll go with the UNDER. UNDERwood was extremely UNDERwhelming last year.
