Oh Blaire. I’m surprised you weren’t as rustled as the rest of your Purdue fanboys here. You must have been too busy putting product in your hair.
Grown man with no wife, kids, or girlfriend. After seeing your posting habits it makes so much sense.

Don’t be jealous because I’m married and have kids. I’ve seen your social media accounts. You no doubt struggle with women likely turning you to men. You’ll find someone someday (maybe). You need to move out of your moms basement first though.

Seeing a power conference team -40 against another powere conference team is impressive

Dude you had a better year, barely, than IU last year. Let’s pump the brakes a little. You have a good coach, but you’re not going to turn into some powerhouse. And bragging about passing IU football isn't something to be proud of. The fact you weren't ahead of IU football for the prior handful of years speaks volumes.

Not only that, but PU has the added benefit of playing in the West- by FAR the weaker division. Purdue had a "better record" than IU last season for a SINGLE reason- no games vs OSU,PSU or MSU. They were 4-5, and the "best" team of the 4 wins was Iowa...Boiler Up!!

Yup. And Purdue fans talking about how hard their schedule is now see what the East teams have to face year in and year out.

Where does it show how unbelievably awesome Northwestern is? I mean, I know they HAVE to be a contender to win the B10 if they beat Purdue at home. Amirite?
Well it shows they went 10-3 with a tougher schedule than IU with the 35th toughest schedule. So yeah, it shows they had a pretty damn good season last year.

And they won't sniff 10 wins this year.... the year they beat Purdue on the road.

Purdue is average at best. Northwestern is average.

Just trying to help you realize your obvious reality.
Almost 40 years old with “wife and kids” and still calling people gay on the internet. I’m sure your kids really look up to their degenerate father.

Purdue fans are the ones saying otherwise trying to pretend Northwestern is a top tier team this year. Don't be stupid.
The only thing I’ve seen said is that NW is a team coming off a 10 win season that returned 14 starters on both sides of the ball and is no walk in the park win when you have 3 turnovers that lead to 21 points in the first half. Purdue isn’t elite, NW isn’t elite. But Purdue is so much damn better than they were 2 years ago and the fan base is excited. Sue us.

Coming off a 10 win season doesn't mean much this year. They win maybe 7 or 8 this year. Mid tier team. Losing at home to a mid tier team is a weird thing to be excited about, but go for it.

Never said I was excited about losing. But I am excited about what Jeff Brohm is going to do with this program. Guess we’ll have to see about NW too unless you have some kind of 6th sense that no one else has.

Reminds me of last year when Purdue played with Louisville and at the time it looked better than it actually was.

Well Purdue did end up 300% better than they were the year before to be fair.

For sure. That bowl win totally sucked.

Instead of looking at that objectively you get defensive as always. UofL wasn’t the team everyone thought they would be that year. Many people think the same with Northwestern, but Purdue fans can continue to base Northweatern off their record last year in order for them to rationalize that it wasn’t a giant disappointment to lose their home opener.

The Vegas line was Purdue-1 so I don’t know if it was a colossal disappointment.

Giant may be over stating it but deep down you know that was a let down to start the season after so much talk this off season.

It was disappointing but I think they showed that they’re going to be competitive in essentially every game again this season.
