While I appreciate how much you all miss my posting and are clamoring for my unlikely return, Id like to direct you to my earlier response on the matter good buddy:
Hope this is true. Does really sound like Purdue pushed to the front in June but always skeptical until it actually happens.
I don't know about that, but I do think IU pushed to have it moved forward.
We will see what happens after the IU visit. Obviously just recently we heard how much of a lock Carton was to Michigan and the visit changed things.
Sounds like IU will have a chance but Purdue is the favorite at the moment. I like Franklin he is going to be a good player. I prefer Newman for his shooting, but if IU is able to sign any of their current guard prospects (Bouknight, Harris, Newman, Franklin, Ramsey) I will be happy.
It'll look better on TV for sure. On the previous darker floor, it was easier to see the seams between the floorboards, which caused some motion blur in HD.

No Langford on a preseason All-Frosh team is, well, just dumb. If he was at Pirdie, not only would you have him listed, bit you'd have him not only ad FOY, but BTPOY. Solid trolling though.
Secondly, it's quite evident you've never seennthis kid play [outside of SAY AAU ]. To call him a "limited scorer" shows your ignorance of his abilities. His shooting from "3" wasn t great ; A streaky shootet. But his ability to score off the bounce, in traffic, etc, etc..is at an elite level. Pretty sure that's why most experts labeled him as the best scoring guard in this class.

Right. Big difference between the two. But now he’s claiming @Da_Bull called for a B10 Championships multiple times. Not sure I remember that, at all.

Always love the overseas trips and watching basketball in August. Doesn’t seem like these will be utilized by Archie
Just been told he isn’t a fan of them. IU was eligible this year for one. Maybe in the future but doesn’t seem likely
Meh it depends on who you are playing against. If its against a bunch of crap teams I am not sure it really helps.
UK is going against solid opponents on their trip this year and the college team that gets to play in the WUG is solid experience.
The only thing that wears me out with overseas trips is when fans start to use it as an excuse that their team is “fatigued” because of a trip they took 5 months prior. Dumbest excuse/explaination ever. Either they’re just playing like garbage or are fatigued from the season/school, not the trip 150 days prior.
But other than that I think they are beneficial even if it is just beating up on poor competition, plus the players get to see a different part of the world which I’m sure they enjoy.
It is a weak excuse agreed. As a player I would love the trip, can't beat it. Of course IUs last trip Crean took them to Canada. ****ing Crean
To be fair this trip in Italy might be harder than our non conference slate so who knows.
Your exhibition game against the Baltimore YMCA over 30 all star team might be harder than your non-conference slate.
It will make it hilarious when Mark his team his a 3 seed in the NIT with 23 wins. God that schedule is shitty.
